Now before New Year's Eve, I thought I would publish a favorite in replay, many will be glamorously dressed up on New Year's Eve and may want to highlight the tits a little extra :) It is very easily done with contouring and becomes natural in fact!
Even if you do not want bigger breasts, I think this is nice to do a little if you have an outfit with a lot of neckline. If nothing else it is very fun :)
When I was younger I did not do like all the other teenagers who stuffed their bras with paper, I overused sun powder to emphasize the well instead haha. Completely unaware that I was ahead of my time with contouring! However, I used a shimmery bronzer in a very warm tone so it did not become so supernatural haha.

I have also done contouring on the collarbones, you really do not need to do it but I think it will be more natural if there are similar shades and colors all over the décolleté and not just around the breasts.
Even out the skin tone with foundation, I have used gloMinerals Pressed Base. It is easier with mineral foundation in the décolleté than liquid, I think, more quickly applied and you do not need to fix with powder.
Highlight the shape of the breasts and below + over the collarbones with a darker shade than the skin tone.
Soften the edges with a larger brush, and apply more of the darker powder on the sides of the décolleté, so that the color blends in better with the skin tone. If there are sharp lines, it will not look natural, it is important that it is soft and discreet.
Use a small brush and apply the palette's lightest shade in the middle of the collarbones and breasts.
And then they sit there, round and full;)

Today's make-up is a good way for people with hooded eyes to lift their gaze and get a little eyeliner wing effect on the eyes without having to make a sharp eyeliner wing that is difficult to achieve in the outer edges of hooded eyes.

Most beautiful hair
Even though I am currently working on getting all the turquoise out of my hair, I can not say against it that it was so extreme, crazy nice when it was freshly made! My nicest days of the whole year were this :)

I had a period during the summer when I was very diligent with manicures and painted my nails in fringe manicures regularly. Strong, healthy nails with white tips and well-groomed cuticles, so heavenly nice!

I do not know what it was with exactly this outfit but I felt great and got a lot of compliments for this combo! Brown lips and brown eyeliner, along with a blue playsuit and a blue color click on the eyeshadow.

Today is the first working day after Christmas and it all started with me forgetting the memory card from the camera and not having any pictures for the blog + that the car did not start haha, but now I'm up and thinking of offering a little more textual post for so long :)
Många har som nyårslöfte/mål för nästa år att bli lite “snyggare”, det kan handla om att ta hand om huden mer, piffa till sig lite oftare eller våga använda starka läppfärger till vardags.
I myself am also a bit on that track before 2018, I started to be able to take some salary out of the company this year but everything has gone to 1. keep the house I inherited from my mother and 2. for renovation. Even though we have not done a worsting renovation but only fixed walls and floors, it runs away financially.
So my hope for 2018 is to be able to put a little money on myself, above all I think about the wardrobe. I have for several years lived on other people's old uncleaned clothes and it works great but they are already worn from the beginning and I do not get my own style in it all.
What I am wearing at the time of writing, to give an example, is entirely other people's clothes that I received when they cleaned their closets. The only thing that is mine from the beginning are my panties haha and I bought them when I was in high school when I was 14 or 15 years old. And now I do not exaggerate, my sweater is from Frida, pants and bra are from Annika and the socks are left since my mother lived in the house and had a box of socks she bought at the market :)
I saw a beauty list in a facebook group where one person wrote everything she wanted to focus on in the way of beauty 2018, I thought it was really inspiring to read and therefore want to share my own beauty list 2018 to you!
Wardrobes:
Clear ALL clothes I do not use or that I should stop using due to holes (which I currently cover with cardigans, long sweaters, etc.)
Buy some well-planned basic garments that fit really nicely and fit everything.
Köpa några “roliga plagg” som piffar upp outfiten och passar till alla basplagg.
Then organize the wardrobe so that everything can hang straight and neat and that you get an overview of all options.

I will invest in a bunch of black tights as well, both full-coverage black and transparent black, I never have uncomfortable outfits and tights are such an easy way to be nice and comfortable at the same time - a long knitted sweater and tights, a casual dress and tights, tights with nice socks or for a pair of heels, so simple and so nice :)
Hair:
I will get better at using styling products immediately after hair washing, at present I just blow-dry and then it is too flat and fluffy the next day and then flat and fluffy the next day and does not look good until the 3rd day with dry shampoo. But if I have volume products and spend a little more time right after the shower, it will be much more manageable and nice all week.
By the way, I will probably wait until my turquoise hair color grows out completely and cut it off before I dye again, I do not think it will disappear completely and have canceled my hairdressing time in January now. I have grown out so long already and then you can start on a new ball then with completely untreated hair, it was a long time ago: D Must take a picture of after cutting but before color, 100% own hair color, would be cool. In six months it will surely work, I think!
I feel great anyway in the length that I have now, and am incredibly eager to permanent my hair as well, it might be a full makeover before the summer then with shoulder short curly hair;)
The nails:
I have previously cared for my nails well with oil and home manicures, which made them look good with just a little nail polish - which I was then also good at repainting so that I have not rubbed off varnish all the time. All these points, however, I have gotten worse at, the renovation has ruined my nails, the cuticles are dry and right now every single nail has abraded nail polish. A nail oil should be placed on the desk in the office immediately! Ideally I would like to start with nail extensions again but I have neither the time nor the money yet :)

And why is this with beauty so important then?
Man kan tycka att det är onödigt att lägga pengar och tid på att vara ytlig och snygg. Men för mig är skönhet friskvård, det handlar inte bara om att vara snygg inför andra eller bli “perfekt” utan att jag tycker det är så himla kul och uppiggande! Jag använder inte smink och kläder för att gömma mig utan tvärtom, jag framhäver och förstärker min personlighet.
For some people, it is a liberation to just be completely natural and who you are. For other people, it's the opposite, I feel more free if I can play as I want with my colors and accessories!
Det här märker jag när jag jobbar i den här branschen också, det finns vissa få personer som känner att skönhet är ett “ont måste som kvinna” som skulle må bättre av att släppa kraven på sig själva. Med dom flesta njuter till fullo av lite egentid, en lugn stund där dom blir ompysslade och sen blir mycket piggare, gladare och får extremt mycket mer inre utstrålning när de ser sig själva i spegeln. Jag jobbar faktiskt inte bara med yta utan med friskvård, det har blivit såå tydligt sen jag började med salongen :)
This day last summer I remember that I felt very nice and therefore became more alert and happy too! And it was not because I had really done anything special but because I had just started to take care of myself again after my mother passed away then. I turned one, had a new dress, put on make-up for the first time in a month and my sister Mia curled my hair before work. It did so much for me I remember and felt that I got a lot more energy just because I was comfortable in myself.
When you look in the mirror and meet a person who looks tired and dull, you do not immediately become more alert. It's like standing and smiling in the mirror for a while so you can fool the brain that you are happy and then you will be happier :)

Eftersom det var julafton igår så publicerar jag inlägget om min businessvecka nu på måndagen istället (brukar ju alltid publicera på söndagar annars) ni kanske inte har koll på det ändå men om någon av er mot all förmodan satt på julafton igår och tänkte att “Helena har glömt sin businessvecka denna vecka” så kan jag berätta att så var icke fallet ;)
First of all I have to say WOW what a week at the salon! It has been such a cozy atmosphere with gingerbread, Christmas decorations and happy customers who buy Christmas presents and gift cards and book treatments to spruce up for Christmas and New Year, and in terms of business we have had a real record week!
Diploma to Ida!
Ida är inte längre lärling utan har uppfyllt kunskapskraven och gått upp till nivå 4 i vårt lärlingsprogram som innebär att man är “Diplomerad professional artist” med minst 1 års erfarenhet samt minst 600 behandlingstimmar! Ida är uppe i ca 700 timmar till och med :)
Ida is thus completely independent and Annika does not have to be available at the salon when she does tattoos, therefore she will soon also be bookable online!
We surprised Ida by receiving this diploma with applause and shouts of joy at our staff meeting last Thursday and she was so happy! Really fun!!
New slippers for customers
Our cozy slippers have always been appreciated by customers at the salon, but over the years have become very worn and began to look a little itchy. But now we have invested in brand new slippers that are so cozy and nice !! I walk around them in the salon all the time haha.
We really focus on that little extra in our service, now in the winter we have blankets, slippers, heat lamps, lit candles, gingerbread and chocolate, two massage chairs with heat in the waiting room and for those who are extra early we have a worst massage armchair man can be in. It is a small investment in gadgets but we think it is very important!

Record!
Last Thursday we had a record at the checkout! I do not like to write so much about money because I do not want it to sound like we are just thinking about tilting products and breaking sales records haha, but it is actually a yardstick for our hard work giving results and how many satisfied customers we have that are recurring, I was completely fully booked with my regulars now before Christmas, all our makeup artists were in place and our barber worked even after closing to catch up with everyone who wanted to book before the weekend! And in the middle of it all, Miska was full at the checkout with everyone who came in and bought products and gift cards on a conveyor belt :)
It is such a warm and fantastic feeling in the body when the whole salon is full of life and movement and everyone is happy and satisfied, think that we have built up all this I said to Miska when we sat in the car on the way home. It's absolutely incredible actually.
Update - Back itching
På tal om presentkort så tänkte jag ge en liten uppdatering på vår nya behandling “bli kliad på ryggen”, presentkorten för detta går åt som smör i solsken! Det är såå kul! Mia har öppnat upp sitt schema varannan lördag och redan efter 2 dagar var hälften av första arbetsdagen uppbokad! Det här blir en succé det hör jag det! ;)
Christmas presents for the staff
On Thursday, the whole force was at the salon and at our staff meeting in the morning, everyone was welcomed by a table with mulled wine, Christmas candy and Christmas presents! We do not have like most companies that everyone gets the same thing but everyone had selected makeup and beauty products and got a small kit with good and mixed :) So cozy!
I have such decision anxiety so it took me over an hour to choose what everyone would get haha, but everyone seemed so happy so I think I succeeded well!
Pavlock - get electric shocks from bad behavior
This is not really part of my business, but it feels almost like that because I have had so many customers this week that I talked about this with, so it has sort of characterized the whole work week anyway :)
My colleague Annika is a real nerd when it comes to biohacking, the brain and behaviors and I borrowed a fun gadget from her called Pavlock that will change one's behavior to get rid of bad habits.
My bad habit that is both a health thing and a beauty thing is that I bite my lips. So the inside of the lips and always has sores in the mouth, not so deep that it hurts but sometimes the sores turn into blisters and then it hurts a lot. But in addition to the fact that it may not be so good to always bite wounds inside the mouth, it is also the case that I sometimes bite too far out so that it becomes visible when I talk. But above all, I start to get jaw problems as I not only bite a little gently in the lower lip but pull the jaw to the side and bite on the edges of the cheeks and all the places I access haha.
I've been doing this since I was little, for as long as I can remember, so it's a deeply ingrained bad habit.
Anyway - Pavlock is a bracelet and in order for the brain to get rid of the behavior pattern and learn that it is bad, I press the bracelet every time I bite my lips and then I get an electric shock haha! It is connected to an app where you can choose different strengths, I have a middle-evil but have tested the highest and it really hurts so then I would not dare to press so often haha.
It is also connected to an app so if I do not notice myself biting (which I often do not) then Miska can have the app in his phone and he can electrocute me through it instead, dangerously worse;)
So you who visit the salon and wonder why I stand and snatch at the checkout sometimes, it does not ticks it is real electric shocks haha!
It is now possible to book apprenticeship treatments at Ämma!
Otherwise, I have worked a lot this week to complete Ämma's schedule, prices and the whole set-up with how we present our apprenticeship structure in a simple and easy to understand way. Because in January we open her schedule for apprenticeships for permanent makeup!
First, all times must match Annika's schedule because she must be present during all treatments, then it must be changed at the checkout, website, booking system and it is clear what is the difference between Annika, Ida and Ämma who all do permanent makeup but have different prices based on degree of experience. It's a bigger puzzle to put together than you can understand, but I will not bore you with the details;)
I feel a bit chatty in this post but I'm a bit caffeinated and the energy is flowing so I hope it has been a fairly fun read anyway! :)
Soon I will have a make-up customer who comes home to my studio in Gimo, in addition to that I am free these two red days and will rest up properly and just cuddle with the family.
And do you know what else? Miska and I celebrate 8 years together today ♥♥♥
