Pixi Lid & Line Smokey Black

2

When I did the green smokey eye makeup with Pixi Lid & Line this day I got the urge to do one more make-up with the black shade Smokey Black!

So I did it today, an easier way to get a black smokey eye that is also a little silver glitter :) Nice!

Duo eyeshadow brush - A makeup brush, several uses

0

Duo eyeshadow brush - A makeup brush, several uses - I have long used a makeup brush that I had completely forgotten that it originally comes from the same distributor that I buy Sanctum from, it is a real multitask brush that has hung with me for probably two years now, and which I use for basically every single make-up I do!

And since I already have good contact with the distributor, I had to buy a bunch right away as soon as I realized that they have it! Three new ones for myself, and the rest for the store and webshop;)

IMG_5690_111

This is available for purchase HERE <-

The brush is a vegan duo brush from the organic brand Eco Minerals, with a wide brush on one side and a narrow slanted slightly smaller brush on the other side. Both sides are quite compact, but the straws are incredibly smooth and soft.

I use it for both base makeup, eyebrows and eye makeup!

IMG_5696_111

This is what the wide brush looks like, at the same time it is very flat so I use the wide side for slightly larger areas, and the narrow top when I need more precision. At the top it is very narrow as you can see!

IMG_5699_111

And here is the slightly less slanted brush that is perfect for eyebrows and eye makeup!

Here are some examples of how I usually use the brush:

IMG_5749_111

Brighten up under the eyes
To apply concealer (or light, matte highlighter) under the eyes, this brush is absolutely perfect! On the one hand, you can apply to the entire area under the eyes with the flat side, and the narrow top reaches the lower lash line super easily.

IMG_5756_111

Highlighter
To apply highlighter on smaller areas of the face, it is also great, to brighten up e.g. under the eyebrows, the cupid's arch of the lips, the chin, etc.

Concealer
Also perfect for applying regular concealer, both on larger areas and on smaller blemishes (use the top for more precision, and use the flat side on larger areas).

IMG_5776_111

Eyebrows
The slanted brush is perfection when filling in eyebrows!

IMG_5785_111

Lashliner
It is also perfect when you want to paint lashliner, or lash marking as it is also called.

Eye shadow
The sloping side is perfect for all sharp lines but wants to do with eye shadow, or a cream eyeliner. And also to apply eye shadow on the underside of the eyes.

IMG_5820_111

Whenever I put a white mark under the eyeliner (as you have seen in lots of my make-up, I love to do so) I always do it with the top of this brush's wide brush!

IMG_5786_111

That said, a real multitask brush that I really like! :)

Now available for purchase HERE and costs SEK 169.

Hugs are! ♥

Contouring palette as eye shadows!

0

Pixi Book of Beauty Contour Creator is the world's best palette for contouring!

And if you want more use for it, or want a light pack when you travel and do not want to bring so many different products, you can also use the colors as eye shadows! :)

Important with primer underneath just so that they become a little more pigment-rich than when you have them on your face.

Hope you like the look!

10 Truths About Makeup - Regarding News Morning and International Women's Day

4

I was incredibly provoked in the way Nyhetsmorgon chose to celebrate International Women's Day, I did not really intend to write about this in the blog because I think the majority of you who read still think similarly to me. But I can not help but haha, have to get it out of me :)

On this day, they chose not to talk about all the millions of problems and injustices women have to put up with today, just for the reason that they were born as women.

No, in Nyhetsmorgon they chose to focus on make-up, or rather that you should dare to show yourself without make-up…

IMG_7354_111 copy

Give me a fucking break..

Prejudices about why you put on make-up

Industry with the majority of women = not seen with the same value

Not the right way to fight unhealthy ideals
Och det är lite som att varje gång man ska “bekämpa smal-hetsen” så väljer man kurviga modeller OCH påpekar detta väldigt tydligt, typ som att man är snygg although you are not size 0, you are good looking although you are unmade. Why not just let it happen naturally, choose models because they look good and fit the theme, regardless of size, and show people both when they are super styled and completely fixed, without making a thing of it as if it is something mega -different.

before-after-glominerals

This is makeup for me:

  2. Makeup is a way of expressing oneself, precis som mode kan vara.
  3. Makeup is a way to vary its appearance on
  4. Makeup can be an accessory, red lipstick or colorful eyeliner that enlivens!
  5. Makeup gives confidence and is a way to take care of yourself, which in turn can also contribute to better self-confidence when you feel good on both the inside and the outside.
  6. Makeup makes you more alert as it conjures away signs of fatigue and the like, which in turn can also make you feel more alert. You fool the brain, if you see a lively and happy person in the mirror, you feel more lively and happy as well.
  7. Makeup is not a must for anyone, you do it if you want, if you do not want, you ignore it. You can also be such a person (as I am) who one day is completely unmade up, even among people, and the next day has a gala make-up on a Tuesday.
  8. People who put on make-up rarely do it for the sake of others, but for its own.
  9. Makeup is not = appearance fixed.
  10. Makeup has nothing to do with gender and gender!

In other words, do not care when people say that you put on too much make-up, do not worry when people say that you should put on more make-up, do what you want and feel for :) You are beautiful both with and without make-up, and even if you were not, it does not matter clichéd enough because it is the inside that counts!

Pjuh, it was nice to bubble a little :)

Hope you had a great start to this glorious day! Hugs are ♥

Smokey Olive Makeup

0

Pixi Lid & Line is a pencil with both eyeliner and eye shadow in the same, incredibly smart!

Here's a step by step guide for you on how to easily use the lid & line pens for a fast and incredibly stylish smokey eye! I have only used the pen for the eyes, no other makeup brush or the like :)

Hope you like the look!
