Loved the oil!

I had a customer this weekend who fixed her eyebrows and lashes with me, and we started talking a lot about organic and natural products as it is close to my heart, and she only used organic products :)

Vi pratade ganska mycket och hon nämnde flera gånger att hon hade en olja som hon “vaktade med sitt liv” för att den är så bra. Hon använder den till allt, håret, naglarna, ansiktet, överallt där hon behöver fukt och rekommenderar den till alla hon känner, men kom inte riktigt ihåg vad den hette. Jag berättade att jag också använder en olja som jag också ÄLSKAR att använda till allt.

And it was so much fun because when we were almost done we realized we were talking about the exact same oil - Infinatura Cura Oil! :) She did not know that we sell this, because it was the first time she was with us. Funny, right? :)

It is really a good oil, it has a very light consistency and works for everything!

I found it when I was invited to Infinatura's press event at Berns a little more than a year ago, and I was not invited because they wanted me to become a reseller, but as a press to possibly blog about it.

Sen stod den på min hylla hemma i över en månad, för jag tyckte det “lät lite för bra för att vara sant” att den skulle funka till både hår, hud och naglar och var så himla bra. Så jag var lite skeptisk faktiskt. Men sen när jag testade – to die for!

So I quickly got in touch with those who held the event and flirted a bit so that I also got to be a reseller, and that's the way it is! :)

Saint Tropez Spring Makeup

Cut crease make-ups in white and turquoise are among the most fun make-ups I think! I have done some such variations before that you have probably seen here in the blog :)

Not because I feel unusually good-looking in that look, but because I love the colors and the way I apply the eye shadow!

Hope you like the makeup too, and understand my step by step description.

  1. Eyeshadow primer on the entire eyelid, Pixi Eye Bright Primer
    Brown eyeshadow as a line at the bottom of the globe line, Paese cashmere (604)
  2. Turquoise eyeshadow on the inside of the eyelid, Paese Opal Trio (Saint Tropez)
  3. Fill with more of the brown eye shadow in the corner of the eye.
  4. Black eyeliner with wing, Pixi Lash Line Ink
  5. Turquoise eyeshadow over the outer edge of the eyeliner.
  6. White eye shadow on the rest of the eyelid, Paese cashmere (601)
  7. Brown eye shadow along the globe line.
  8. Fill with more brown eyeshadow and fade the edges
    Light yellow eye shadow in the corner of the eye and upwards, and at the bottom of the lower lash line, Paese Opal Trio (Saint Tropez)
  9. White eye shadow right in the corner of the eye and under the eyeliner
    Brown eyeshadow along the lower lash line
    Off-white eyeliner along the waterline, Benecos Natural White Kajal
  10. Black mascara on all lashes, Magnetic lash mascara

CeraWand Curling Iron 9-19mm

In my post CeraWand Curling iron as I wrote in January, I told you about a cone-shaped curling iron that is very easy to curl your hair with, even on itself. Then I mentioned that I also have their narrowest curling iron, which I will show you today :)

The pliers I showed in the previous post I had borrowed from Frida, she is very fond of it! And this narrower variant Cerawand Curling Iron 9-19 mm have I got a press sample last autumn:

Significantly much narrower as you can see! Where it is narrowest it is 9 mm, and the thicker bottom is 19 mm.

The first impression of this narrow pliers was that it was not something for me who finds it difficult to curl my own hair. The curls became a little too small, and fresh in the tops.

But then I asked Jeanette at the salon (who is basically a hairdresser) to curl my hair with this one, and then the result was much better, really, really bang-nice even! :)

Perfect pliers if you want quite small curly curls! Although she did not spin her hair on the narrowest part of the tongs, so you can get even smaller curls with it if you want.

The curling iron has a 3 meter long, rotating cord (nice!), Digital display, and provides heat up to 210 degrees. It also gets hot quickly, which is appreciated. Recommended starting price is SEK 520 but HERE it costs SEK 399 + free shipping.

Summary - Not as easy a pair of pliers to attract as CeraWand's thicker pliers, but really nice curls when you get it nice!

Two thumbs up for these curls I say! Would like to try using the narrowest side and curl right up to the scalp at some point, and see if you can get an equally beautiful hairstyle as Wiktoria who is at the Melodifestivalen this year;) I would have liked that!

Charcoal & Mimosa

Today's make-up is inspired by the combination of gray and coral, so heavenly beautiful colors together!

Det här läppstiftet är för övrigt en suverän vårfärg, jag kom ut i butiken efter att ha sminkat mig och Jeanette utbrast “oh now you look brown! Have you sunbathed in the solarium in there?” och jag förstod ingenting, men misstänker att läpparna är en sådan “lysig” färg som gör att man ser brunare ut. För jag hade butikens nästan ljusaste foundation på mig haha.

The gray eyeliner is made with gloMinerals Micro Precise eyeliner (Charcoal), which is so narrow at the tip that you can easily get sharp edges even though it is a pencil.

  1. Select how wide you want the eyeliner.
  2. Fill in the eyeliner along the entire upper lash line.
  3. Mark how far out you want the wing.
  4. Shape the eyeliner wing.
  5. Fill in the entire eyeliner
  6. White eye shadow in the corner of the eye and under the eyeliner, Paese cashmere eyeshadow (601)
  7. Black mascara on the upper lashes, gloMinerals Water Resistant Mascara

Clear! :)

Uppsala residents

Good morning lovely you!

This week, Miska and I are cat and apartment attendant at Annika's mother who is abroad on holiday, which means that we also live in Uppsala for a week! :) We have just woken up and have morning coffee in hand, wonderful!

Otrooligt skönt att bara ha några minuter till jobbet, alltså ni anar inte vad vi njuter över det. Det tar en timme med bussen för oss annars, så två timmar varje dag tjänar ni nu + att man slipper anpassa sig efter busstider vilket man också tjänar tid på. Annars kan man lätt tänka “det är ingen idé att börja med det här nu för då blir det stressigt innan bussen går”. Men nu gör det inget om man stannar en kvart extra för att avsluta det man håller på med.

Almost dangerously nice to get a taste of life as Uppsalabo;) Although almost lucky that we are not yet, it is easy to work a little for mycket nästan. Vi var här från morgon till kväll både lördag och söndag, och det blir 7-dagarsvecka den här veckan också. Men det gör ju inget för “vi har så nära hem nu” haha.
