Sminkningen som jag visade på Frida i inlägget “Cat eye makeup”Was very much appreciated, so now I have done another make-up on her! :)
Since Frida (and I also) have large eyelids but which are not very visible when we look straight ahead, the previous make-up looked more like an eyeliner look thanks to the fact that we did not make-up higher than the globe line, and even though it was not an eyeliner without a gray-black soot on the entire eyelid, it gave the same effect as an eyeliner wing. You can click in you on that post again if you do not remember what I mean.
Now I was going to show you what it will be like to do the opposite! If you want to make a smokey eye, you can put on make-up over the globe line for a more smoky effect :)
When you put on make-up, you often stretch your eyebrows and raise your chin a little so that the whole eyelid is visible in the mirror, and then it is easy to not soot the eyeshadow high enough because it seems to be so much on the whole eyelid in any case .
But it is important to relax the forehead and look straight ahead, and watch so that the eye shadow ends up above the line so that the fine smoky edge does not disappear into the skin fold in the globe line.
If you put make-up above the globe line like this, you get a result that lifts the gaze much more.
Hope you understand what I mean! :) This is how pang-looking she became anyway:
We only smoked on the top of the eyes to get a make-up that lifts the eyes more, but if you want to enlarge the eyes more, you can apply on the underside as well :)
There are quite a few products that I actually run out of and continue to use regularly and buy over and over again. Not because there are few things I like, but because I test so much new all the time and like to vary, it's a bit my job.
But then there are some products that I can not live without, and one of them is Paese Micellar Solution! I have tested several micellar waters but like none as much as the one from Paese :)
When you talk about micellar water, or micellar water as it is called in English, very few people know how it works, and many do not even know what the product is.
Det ser ut som ett ansiktsvatten, och används på samma sätt, men är egentligen mer som en återfuktande rengöring där man inte behöver använda kranvatten! Det rengör huden på djupet och “suger upp” orenheter från porerna som en magnet.
There are several ways to use it and it has several good features, which I now thought to go through thoroughly in a post so that you keep up with the turns :)
What is Micellar Water?
A multi-product that moisturizes the skin while cleansing in a very gentle way - but above all in a very effective way! Use as a toner, shake the bottle, moisten a cotton ball and wipe over the face.
How does micellar water work?
It is a micellar cleanser, which means in short (it is a bit overpriced to understand exactly) that it contains charged particles that attract dirt and impurities from the pores, that is why the skin becomes so clean! You do not need to rub or massage the skin with water, it is enough to sweep the cotton ball over the skin and the water works as a magnet or vacuum cleaner that sucks up sebum and impurities from the pores.
Who should use micellar water?
Everyone has a use for this, as everyone's skin types feel good about being cleaned a little extra. But I recommend it mainly for either oily and impure skin that needs extra deep cleansing, as well as for people with sensitive skin who need a gentle cleansing. I fit into both categories and am completely addicted!
Characteristics
♥ Cleansing - It deeply cleanses the skin
♥ Toner - It tones the skin and restores the pH balance
♥ Nourishing - Is both soothing and moisturizing for the skin
♥ Does not need to be rinsed off with water
There are several ways to use micellar water:
When you are in a hurry
Because it works both as a cleanser, toner and has moisturizing and soothing properties, it is a perfect multitask product when you are lazy or in a hurry. You get everything at once and are done with your skincare routine in half a minute. And can also do it on the go as you do not need access to running water.
As a gentle makeup remover:
Micellar water also removes makeup, it is not quite as effective (or fast-use may be a better word choice) as a regular makeup remover but more gentle. For example, it is popular with models who remove makeup several times a day.
For sensitive skin:
Even if you have problems with dry skin or oily acne skin, your skin can be sensitive at the same time. A sensitive skin turns slightly red and it is common to have both dryness and blemishes at the same time. Then micellar water is a perfect product! As water dries out the skin, I recommend not using it more often than necessary, but since this does not need to be rinsed off with water, it works gallantly as a cleanser for you with sensitive skin.
To cleanse the skin extra:
Om man föredrar att tvätta ansiktet med vatten och en “vanlig” rengöring så kan detta vara ett bra komplement efteråt, som ett extra rengörande ansiktsvatten då man kanske inte fått bort precis allt smink, talg och orenheter ur huden med den vanliga rengöringen. Det finns ofta lite rester kvar i porerna.
How to use I micellar water:
I use Paese Micellar Solution both morning and evening, but in different ways:
♥ In the evening - I have very oily skin and use it after my usual makeup remover and cleansing (removes eye makeup with remover for waterproof makeup, and then washes the entire face with a cleansing foam that I rinse with lukewarm water). And then use it as extra cleaning.
♥ In the morning - I have very sensitive skin and in the morning I usually avoid washing my face with water, better to do it once a day instead of twice. Then I use it instead of a cleanser, and during the night the body has cleansed itself and a lot of oil and impurities come out through the pores, and then it is really visible on the cotton! You SEE how dirty you have been in the face! Afterwards, the skin is smooth and completely oil-free and feels really nice, without feeling the slightest bit dry.
♥ When I'm unmade one day - If I do not have makeup to wash off in the evening, I usually run a quick evening routine and use micellar water just like in the morning, as a cleanser without water. Partly because it goes fast, but also to reduce water use on my sensitive skin.
Here you see the cotton after cleaning the face in the morning, and then I was careful with the cleaning the night before. Lots of dirt and stuff that comes out through the skin at night.
Not so fresh to keep this on your face for a whole day, cleansing is very important! Think of so much tallow that is on the cotton as well, but which is invisible.
It is very often I have make-up customers with oily / unclean skin who, despite cleaning their skin before they come to me, get this visible result on the cotton. In some it is not visible at all (but that does not mean that nothing comes out) and in some it is very visible.
I always clean my clients' skin with Paese Micellar Solution before I start applying makeup :)
This bottle will soon run out, and then I will no doubt open a new one :)
Sometimes I get the question if I do not think it feels strange to write about brands other than the ones I sell myself, for example recommend a lipstick from another brand when I myself have so many in my webshop.
But no, I do not think so at all! Have barely reflected on it, because it feels so obvious to me to write about other brands as well. Partly because I think it's fun to review something else, and the blog might feel a little boring if it was only my own products I wrote about, but also for the sake of the readers! Of course you want to read about all products and brands on the whole market :)
BUT there is a product, a product that I like so much that I almost get annoyed that I do not sell it myself, because I am so very happy with it and would love to see it on the shelves here in the store haha. A product that I blogged about before but that is really worth mentioning again - and it is Makiash Nail Polish Remover!
Sorry the jar does not look brand new and fresh, I have been using this for 8 months now and it has been used a LOT during that time :)
The package is a jar with a sponge inside it, which you have to put your finger in and thus remove the nail polish directly in the jar. You do not need to smear with cotton at all, you just put your finger down, rub the nail against the sponge, and then it's done. Lid on, no mess!
I like it because:
♥ The remover is super efficient and the nail polish disappears in a second
♥ You do not have to mess with cotton
♥ You avoid stinky cotton in the trash
♥ You can remove nail polish anywhere as quickly as you like, you do not need more than this product and you do not need to wash your hands afterwards. You just remove the nail polish and close the lid, then you are done
♥ The nails do not feel dry afterwards
♥ It lasts super long
♥ Acetone free
♥ Contains 75 ml
It smells quite strong, I'm otherwise used to Paese's remover which smells quite good, but it is not a persistent strong smell like when you use the classic Gripen products that kind of plague the whole room haha. So it's still okay :)
Och den vanligaste frågan när jag visar denna för folk (den har blivit lånad både av kompisar och modeller på plåtningar, jag rekommenderar den till alla) det är “does it not get full of nail polish?”Because you can believe it. You know how sticky the cotton pads are after just a few nails. But I have been using it for eight months now and there are lots of nail polish in it, and it still works as perfectly as the first time :)
Assume that the nail polish dissolves so much of the remover that in the end it is only a part of the liquid, and that all the color gets stuck in the sponge, or reached. Because it's totally safe a whole nail polish bottle in there soon haha, but you are never sticky about your fingers when you take them out of the jar.
You probably see a little color in there when you look for :) But as I said, nothing that discolors the slightest bit on the fingers or nails.
Two BIG thumbs up in other words! The jar costs SEK 130 Makiash.com, and if you are nail polish nerds like me, it's worth every penny!
Here is a light, light spring make-up with a small turquoise detail that enlivens the whole look!
Perfect this spring, and perfect also on the date on Valentine's Day when the eyes become very interesting to look at when a color click appears when you blink. Good when you want a special person not to be able to take your eyes off one;)
As I wrote here this week, we have now received my beloved Infinatura Cura Oil in 10 ml bottles too :) And because I love these so much, and want all of you who have dry skin (and lips, and cuticles, and hair) and who like oils to try this.
So right now we have a 40% discount on it, and it costs money 89:- instead of words. price SEK 149!
The bottle is small and cute, and easy to carry in your handbag.
And the oil is so expensive that 10 ml goes a long way, depending on what you use it for. For small, dry areas such as lips and nails, it is enough for any length of time! And if you have it for the hair or larger parts of the body, a smaller bottle is perfect in the handbag, or to try on before you buy a large one of 100 ml :)
If you want to read more about the oil, the ingredients and uses, you can read my previous post here!
The offer is valid while stocks last! And you will find Infinatura as usual Byher.se :)
