I have shown you three make-ups done with the eyeshadow palette Makeup Revolution Ultra 32 Shade Eyeshadow Palette which I received a press release from a few weeks ago, and now I was thinking of writing a review about it! :)
Colors
This is a palette that contains a total of 32 eye shadows, and the shades are all quite earthy. A perfect color mix for you who like earthy and gloomy tones but who at the same time do both light and dark make-up. There are both shimmery and matte shades, which I like!
Pigment
All shades are very rich in pigments, they are best with eye shadow primer underneath. But they are the same on the eyelid as they look in the palette, and can be toned out nicely without getting dull edges on the make-up.
Use
The most shimmery shades can be a little crumbly, so you have to be a little careful so that they do not fall under the eyes. But otherwise they are incredibly easy to work with.
Award
The palette costs SEK 175 HERE which is about SEK 5.50 per shade so they are incredibly affordable if you will use them all!
Summary - An affordable and good eyeshadow palette for you who want to be able to vary your make-up a lot and do a lot of different looks, while using earthy and gloomy tones.
The packaging itself is a nice black box with a large mirror in it, very nice!

Jag vet faktiskt inte riktigt varför jag inte gjort det mer tidigare, men det ligger nog i att vi har haft så mycket planer på ändringar hela tiden så jag tänker alltid “vi ska bara få upp den här tavlan här först” eller “vi kommer ju snart fixa snyggare kring speglarna här så jag väntar lite”. Och dessutom har jag funderat på att köpa ett vidvinkelsobjektiv också för det är inte så lätt att fota rum heller och få det så snyggt som det ser ut i verkligheten.
But I still thought that I can now show you, one room at a time, how we have this :) And then I can fix nicer and better pictures, and maybe a movie too, when we get to all the rooms even better! Hope you think it's fun :)
First out is my and Miska's room, where there are no customers, but here we sit and work in peace and quiet when we are not out in the store. The best room in the world!
We have two doors, from one I come out into the makeup studio and the other leads to the waiting room. And here you see our three massage chairs! Luxuriously worse huh;)
When I have lots of computer work to do, I usually have a cup of coffee and sit here, turn on massage and heat in the armchair and work until my fingers glow. You get so much done when you can relax your body and let your inspiration and brain work at full speed instead!
Ibland får jag dåligt samvete när dom som jobbar ute i butiken kommer in och frågar saker, typ “här sitter jag och har det bra i min massagefotölj” men jag jobbar minst 12 timmar varje dag och har jag möjlighet att göra det på ett mysigt sätt någon timme så varför inte? Bara mina egna hjärnspöken som tror att man måste ha ont i ryggen och svettas för att göra ett bra jobb, men så är det ju inte så klart. Och jag är ganska säker på att dom inte missunnar mig det heller haha.
Då är det kanske värre när jag hade glömt dataladdaren hemma en dag och var tvungen att åka hem tidigare för att kunna jobba, och sa dagen efter “jag och Miska jobbade hemma igår, vi testade en badskum!” och visade bilder på när vi låg i badkaret haha. Men det måste ju också göras för att kunna skriva en recension ;)
And here you see the office corner! My little desk on the left, and Miskas a little bigger on the right. However, I regret a bit that I bought a smaller desk, need more space haha. But when I do a lot of paperwork, I usually sit on the floor :)
And I also have my make-up and photo place in here! It's bright outside but the flash and backlight make it look like night :)
When I worked in the apartment, I had a make-up area in the kitchen and photo studio in the living room / bedroom (live in a studio) but now I can take photos step by step while I put on my make-up, and do not have to get up and go to the other room after small eyeshadow color, so nice!
And then I have a white background screen on a tripod that I put behind the chair when I take photos, to get a bright and clean background in the pictures.
Then I forgot to take pictures of the other corner, but there is at least an IKEA bureau full of make-up and products, and a bar table that I place in front and use when I take product pictures. Practically! But will soon need another agency, I feel, haha, it is packed!
My eye stones next to the makeup mirror - Kleenex cube with napkins, makeup brushes from Nanshy and 6 make-up palettes from Pixi Book of Beauty that look like cute books!
And my beloved make-up mirror comes from Sminkspegel.se and I just saw that they have the worst sale on the website, some mirrors are 1000 kronor cheaper, including the one I have :) They have more sizes and colors as well.
If you want an everyday make-up that is a little extra fun and preferably with a splash of color, without actually having more make-up than usual, then a colorful mascara and an extra pimped eyeliner is a fun way to vary :)
So today I thought I would show you a black eyeliner with a wing - with blue dots and blue mascara!
Our beard products have become popular both in the store and the webshop, which I think is incomparably fun!
So now I have photographed the products a little closer and thought to write a post about what all products are for something and how they are used, so you get a good overview of our range today:
Cleaning:
Washing the beard is very important, think about how many bacteria it gets stuck there when you eat, itch, and from sweat and sebum that comes out of the skin, not least in the face.
If you have a little beard, it works with regular facial cleansing (do not use hand soap at all! A lot of people use hand soap on the face, but it's crazy too strong for the thin skin). Sanctum Men's Facial Wash is a face wash that cleanses both skin and beard, as well as soothes irritated skin that is common after shaving.
But if you have a slightly longer beard that needs more care to look good, then shampoo and conditioner that is adapted for just the beard is the very best. For the hair on the head is a completely different type of hair, so that shampoo will not fit as well.
Shampoo -Beardition Really Good Beard Shampoo
Beard shampoo with 100% natural ingredients, with a mild formula that is gentle on the sensitive skin of the face. It provides moisture, nourishment and has a caring effect on the beard. It contains organic aloe vera and Vitamin E, and has a mild scent of cucumber and mint from essential oils.
Balsam -Beardition Even Better Beard Conditioner
For a softer and more compliant beard, it is good to use beard conditioner as well. This conditioner is 100% natural and has a mild formula that is gentle on the sensitive skin of the face. It provides moisture, nourishment and has a caring effect on the beard. It contains organic aloe vera and Vitamin E, and has a mild scent of cucumber and mint from essential oils.
Use
Start by washing your beard with shampoo. Then massage the beard balm into the beard and let it work for a couple of minutes. Rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water. Massage in a beard oil after washing for best effect.
Both the shampoo and conditioner contain 235 ml, but there is also one travel set with 60 ml that you can buy if you either want to test before buying larger packages, or if you want smaller packages that are easy to pack.
Beard shampoo with pump bottle – Me Bear Family Beard Wash (Woodland)
We also have a beard shampoo from Mr Bear Family which in texture and use is quite similar to Beardition, both have a gel consistency and lather well. But Mr Bear Family Beard Wash is good if you want to wash your beard a little faster and not use conditioner after, a practical pump bottle that you can easily have standing on the sink and wash your beard quickly in the morning before starting the day.
In addition, the scents are different, Beardition smells more fruity and sour, while Mr Bear Family has woody scent notes.
Mr Bear Family Beard Wash is a mild beard shampoo that cleanses the beard without drying it out. It has a calming effect on irritated skin, is moisturizing and anti-inflammatory. Based on surfactants of vegetable origin, which gives a rich lather.
Contains caring ingredients such as shea butter, apricot kernel oil, beeswax, jojoba oil, argan oil, coconut oil, rosehip seed oil, sunflower oil, natural vitamin E.
Caring:
Finishing the cleaning with a caring oil will make a big difference to how the beard looks and feels, it will be less fresh, much more compliant and much softer and easier to handle. It helps both for the moment and in the long run to get a beard that is healthy and nice.
Light beard oil – Beardition Soft + Sweet Beard Oil
The beard oil from Beardition contains 100% natural ingredients and is good for both the beard and the skin under the beard.
It softens your beard, counteracts itching and irritation in the beard base, while providing proper moisture and nourishment to the skin and beard hair. It contains nourishing coconut oil, sunflower oil and green tea, and has a mild aroma of bamboo.
Use
Used daily or 2-3 times / week. Start by heating a few drops of oil between the palms of your hands. Massage the beard oil into the beard and beard base.
Heavier beard oil – Mr Bear Family Beard Brew (Woodland)
If you want a slightly fatter and heavier beard oil, the oil from Mr Bear Family is great, it is a little heavier in consistency than the Beardition oil.
Mr Bear Beard Brew is a beard oil based on natural oils that softens and refreshes both the beard and beard base. It moisturizes and softens the beard. It counteracts irritation, itching and dry skin. Easy application with pipette.
Contains almond oil, apricot kernel oil, jojoba oil, argan oil and essential oils. Has a woody and gloomy scent.
Styling:
A beard wax is great if you want to style the beard and make it lie the way you want, just like when you style the hair on your head.
Beard wax -Mr Bear Family Beard Balm (Woodland)
The moisturizing wax not only gives a naturally well-groomed look, but also relieves skin irritations such as itching and dryness. With a lovely scent of lush coniferous forest. Beard Balm is the perfect beard care together with Mr Bear Family Beard Brew. Made from 100% natural ingredients.
Application:
Take the product out of the jar, starting with a small amount, it is always easier to add than to remove. Gently soften the balm between the hands and then massage it into the beard. Use a brush or comb to shape the beard.
It is always best not to put fingers in the jar, for hygiene reasons and for a longer shelf life. Feel free to have a spatula or similar next to the wax that you pick up a click with, and easily rinse off after use.
Beard brush -Mr Bear Family Beard Brush
For you with a long beard, it is good with a beard brush, both to style the beard but also to distribute caring products evenly throughout the beard. In addition, with regular brushing, the skin under the beard is revitalized and counteracts a dry beard.
Shaving & trimming:
Even if you do not let the beard grow out at all, or if you want to trim the beard lines, it is good with fine shaving products to get a gentle and nice shave.

Use
Dampen the shaving brush in warm water and shake off the excess. Dip it into the shaving soap and use circular motions to work up a creamy lather. Apply on moisturized skin and massage in the shaving foam with circular motions. After shaving, rinse the shaving brush in warm water and dry it upside down.

Great that more men also open their eyes to us, and not only för skäggvården då allting vi säljer passar alla personer, inte bara kvinnor. Även om man inte sminkar sig med mascara, ögonskugga och den typen av smink så vill man kanske ändå trolla bort mörka ringar, blemmor, framhäva kindben, använda bra hudvård o.s.v. och jag tycker inte att det ska behöva stå “concealer for men” för att det ska kännas okej att handla det även om man är en icke-kvinna. För det är precis samma produkt ändå :)
And especially at the salon, we have a lot of male customers who fix eyebrows and lashes (although not everyone does an equally feminine shape as for example I have on my eyebrows) and permanent makeup, teeth whitening and manicure are treatments that are absolutely not gendered in some way.
