Here is my review of Lumene nail polish, gel effect. These nail polishes are available for purchase at e.g. Lyko.se (adlink).

I am the experts' expert at destroying nail polish before it has time to dry, I have neither the time, patience nor desire to wait even if it goes pretty fast with most nail polishes.

For the first time, however, I have succeeded, even though I painted while sitting in front of the computer (painted one hand at a time).

Lumenes new nail polishes are absolutely superb!

Deras gamla nagellack tas bort ur sortimentet och ersätts av nya “gel effect” som ska ge samma resultat som salongsnaglar. Fast man behöver inte någon uv-lampa som med vanliga gellack, utan detta är ett vanligt nagellack med gellackets positiva delar kan man säga.

För det första så är nagellacket väldigt “flexibelt” och breder ut sig över nageln, så det blir inga ränder eller ojämnheter och du kan till och med dutta på lite extra på bara en del av nageln och resultatet blir ändå jämnt. Underbart tycker jag, speciellt behövligt nu då mina salongsnaglar under har tre ränder på sig som buktar ut lite från nageln. Det ser inte alls konstigt ut förutom när jag målar annat nagellack över – då syns ojämnheterna. Men detta lack jämnar till och med ut det!

The coverage is also reminiscent of gel polish, two coats and you have a perfect coverage with a very nice shine. The color is clear and nice and looks just like in the packaging. However, I added three coats to even out my salon nails underneath.

Och det som jag älskar mest – det torkar så snabbt! Många nagellack blir “dammtorra” snabbt men sedan när man klär på sig jackan så har man hack i allihopa. Men när dessa lack har torkat så är dom verkligen torra, och det går på någon minut bara! Love!

I can not review the durability of 100% myself, almost all nail polishes fit well on salon nails namely. But I painted the nails with Lumene varnish this Tuesday and they are still just as nice! Should ask the sisters with regular nails to test and see how it fits on them.

I have the shades Wild Strawberry (the coral red) and the dark purple Moonlit on the nails right now. Nice combo I think!

So in other words, I can really recommend Lumene's nail polish - gel effect, they are available in 24 colors.

VIP guest at Let's Dance!

As you know, I love the Lumene brand and often use their products for the blog, which of course they appreciate and usually publish my posts on their Facebook page from time to time.

This year they are the main sponsors of Let's Dance, and have actually invited me as a VIP guest there tonight! So fun!

And not only that, wonderful Nicolin has just moved into an apartment on Kungsholmen (!) So she, me and Miska will celebrate this by first going as VIP guests at Let's Dance, and then go out and drink drinks before we sleeping over in her new lair! :)

A wonderful Friday with two of the people I love the most !!

Blue is the warmest color

I did a bright blue make-up earlier this week, and here comes an almost identical but more smoky and party.

Blue make-up and bright red glossy lips are just so beautiful… Hope you like! :)

Light blue eye shadow deepest on the eyelid.
Bright blue eye shadow in the middle of the eyelid.
Dark blue eye shadow at the end of the eyelid and at the end of the lower lash line.
Gray-black eye shadow sooted at the tip of the eye.
Blue eye shadow (second at the top of the palette)  at the bottom of the lower lash line.
Black eyeliner along the upper and lower lash line, Lumene Blueberry Intense Liner Waterproof.
Black eyeliner along the waterline, Emite Makeup Eye Pencil (Ladies)
Black mascara on all lashes, Lumene Cloudberry Volume Serum Mascara.

Summer lips like IsaDora

If you are looking for a pigment-rich and summery lip gloss around the 100 mark, I can recommend it IsaDora Moisturizing Lip Gloss in the shades Tropical Pink and Coral Glow.

Both are so nice!

I have written about the bright pink Tropical Pink zaralarsson.se already, but Coral Glow is also very nice and above all a slightly more discreet and natural color for those of you who do not like such flashy shades.

I think Coral Glow is even nicer on you who have a little lighter lips naturally, then the nice color will probably come out a little more (my lips are quite dark under the lip gloss).

The gloss is semi-opaque but, as I said, rich in pigments, does not stick to the lips and also contains jojoba oil and shea butter which helps to soften and moisturize the lips.

Two thumbs up I say! :)

Easter make-up (Step by step)

Today is Maundy Thursday, and I have therefore put on make-up in yellow, orange and green in honor of the day - colors that remind me of Easter, an Easter make-up step by step!

I used light but colorful eye shadows, so the make-up is light and discreet even though it is colorful :)

1. Green eye shadow along the globe line.
2. Yellow eye shadow on the entire eyelid.
3. Orange eye shadow along the lower lash line and at the end of the eyelid.
4. Bright orange eye shadow at the end of the eyelid.
5. Blur the edges.
6. Black eyeliner + wing, Lumene Blueberry Intense Liner Waterproof.
7. Black mascara on the upper lashes, Oriflame The ONE Volume Blast Mascara.
