Here is the make-up I had at the ATTITUDE fair last Friday, I had a very stylish outfit and wanted to make the whole thing a little more crazy with a really colorful eye shadow!
I felt a little hit when Linda Hallberg talked about Oriflame, and said that we in Sweden are so bad at using colorful eye shadows, that more people should have it and that she actually thinks it will come more and more. And there I sat with my bright turquoise eyes :)
And I really want to be part of spreading that message and encourage you to dare! Colors are so nice, MORE COLOR FOR THE PEOPLE! :)

Jag är jättenöjd! Jag är fortfarande blond men det ser naturligare och “dyrare” ut, och dessutom kommer inte min utväxt bli en tydlig rand som syns på mils avstånd – skönt! Tack Monica Werner på salongen “Frisörerna” i Uppsala! :)
But I was very used to it the first few days and felt like a brunette, even though my hairdresser said before that I would feel that way, so I was prepared. It is apparently common for blondes to have a harder time getting used to the dark, than for brunettes to be light.
She used intensive toning and said that the dark would be washed out the first washes, and now after two washes I have thought that it has become much brighter. But when Monica sent the pictures, I had a good laugh and realized that it has not become so much brighter, but it is mostly that I have got used to it. I felt three times as dark in the hairdresser's chair than I see now that I was :)

In a week or so, it's time for hair extensions too, for the first time in my life. It will be exciting!
The highlight of the ATTITUDE trade fair yesterday was without a doubt the Make Up Store's Catwalk show. Super fun to see, fun mix of different styles!
It was the first time I visited the fair, and it felt a bit like a typical event that looks so glamorous on all blogs and magazines, but then you get a little surprised when you get there because you have such high expectations.
I was expecting much bigger and more exhibitors, but it felt a bit scattered to be honest! But absolutely super nice anyway :)
Got really hungry Jennie-Ellens shoes, many were so incomparably beautiful and she was super nice too! She praised my makeup, maybe that's why I liked her hehe;)
I'm a little bad at picking up the camera and taking pictures, I only have my big system camera and it's a bit awkward to have and deal with, I think. But when you sat in peace and quiet at the stage / catwalk, I actually took a few photos :)
Oriflame hade en “tjuvstarts-lansering” av det nya märket The ONE och man kunde köpa vissa produkter redan nu – väldigt billigt dessutom, en mascara för 20kr! 20:e mars är det som gäller annars, då man kommer kunna handla från hemsidan.
Linda Hallberg put on mega-beautiful Elsa Ekman on stage, Linda is very good at both make-up and talking, but it was a bit planned, it felt like - when you did not see a smack. They could have filmed and shown on the big screen so that you could see something maybe, it was a huge hall and you did not see a smack of the make-up, to make-up before and just show pictures would have been almost even better. The camera is as zoomed in as it goes in the picture! But still nice, Daniel Paris is really nice :)
As I said, I did not take many photos, but Tove was better, so keep an eye out her blog because there will probably be pictures coming out soon!
Is there any occasion when you feel uglier than sitting in the barber chair?
The light is completely focused on the hair, and the face just feels like a greyish, worn-out mess. If you also dye, you sit there with creamy, back-licked hair and suffer from your own reflection that you are forced to stare at for several hours. Ugh, awful!
When you then rinse the hair and the basic make-up comes off along the hairline, then it does not feel much better if you say so;)
As I said, I have been away on a lot of stuff this week, both work-related and private, and I prepared most of the make-up this weekend so that I would have proper blog material during the week. But here comes the very last make-up with my old light blonde hair color - the day when I would sit in the hairdresser's chair and stare at my ugly nuna haha!
It was a simple make-up that still enlivens a little and gives the eyes a more lively look :)
1. Light golden eye shadow on the entire eyelid, iMys Eyedust (Golden Champagne)
2. Blur the edges with a soft brush.
3. Brown eye shadow along the lower lash line, more at the outer edge, nudh mineral eye shadow (Cacao Brown)
4. Black eyelineralong the upper lash line, Oriflame Eye Liner Stylo.
5. Black mascara on all lashes, Oriflame The ONE Mascara (goes on sale March 20)
Magnetic Lash in Sweden, the new successful mascara from England!
The mascara is available for purchase Amazon and the price is SEK 249 at the time of writing.
Magnetic Lash is a fiber mascara with the fibers on the side instead of blended into the mascara.
Step 1 - Apply the mascara as usual. Step 2. Brush on the fibers. Step 3. Add a layer of mascara.
I was at the press conference last Wednesday and met the founder of Magnetic Lash - Santhilea. A very nice woman whose brother than any kind of chemical, and together they have walked home in the living room to get the ultimate mascara! It has very quickly become popular and is already available in several countries, even though it was launched only 20 months ago (!)
We got to see the mascara applied both to a model, as well as to Santhilea herself who has Asian eyes and very short and straight eyelashes. The most fun was to see Santhilea's results, as you could barely see her lashes before and then they popped out all of a sudden :)
She also said that the first time / times you test, it is not certain that you will be completely satisfied, because you learn after a few times how much mascara / fibers you should apply to get a good result.
I felt pretty happy after the first use, they feel a bit rough which can be a practice thing, but long and full yes they did!
I actually thought the mascara itself was very good, even before the fibers! It gave length and separated the lashes well. The brush was something between big and small, and I like that it is hourglass shaped so that you get volume + reach all eyelashes only from the root.
The fibers are concise black fluff :)
Jag har ju som sagt testat en liknande mascara innan, Sheer Cover har nämligen en mascara med samma princip. Det som är bra med Magnetic Lash är dock att fibrerna är svarta, så syns dom lite så gör det inte så mycket. Sheer Covers fibrer är vita, vilket gör att man i “steg 3” måste applicera ganska mycket mascara för att täcka allt vitt.
In this picture you can clearly see that practice gives skill with this mascara, the right eye was much better than the left as I did first!

I've googled a bit on Magnetic Lash and looked at pictures and reviews, and you actually get a good laugh every now and then. There are so many who become blind because they want as much volume and length as possible, that they smear on a hundred layers and do not seem to see that all the fibers protrude in all directions and edges and look like knot-like lumps. Spider lashes fixed a size larger so that they have hairy legs as well, haha usch fyy.
This The Youtube clip was the best. When she filmed her lashes up close, I put my hands up to her face and screamed “neeej vad heeemskt!” whereupon she says “I think it’s… Amazing!” Fast forward to 0:59 and you will see what I mean :)
So I want to emphasize that you can take too much of the good when it comes to this mascara, you have to be a little careful, you do not want to walk around with a big hairy spider on your eyes. But if you are careful, it is very good!
