Here comes today's make-up, a purple, smoky New Year's make-up!

All eye shadows are from iMys 40 palette, unless otherwise stated.

Light eye shadow innermost and in the middle of the eyelid.
Silver eyeshadow In the corner of the eye.
Purple eye shadow in the middle of the eyelid (the light shadow is below, therefore it is light purple shimmery)
Coral pink / pear pink eye shadow along the globe line.
Black eye shadow along the lower lash line, at the end of the eyelid and smoked along the globe line, Pur Minerals Eyeshadow Trio (Rock Goddess)
Purple eyeliner along the waterline, at the bottom of the lower lash line and at the bottom of the upper lash line, Yves Rocher Eyeliner (04 Violet)
Black eyeliner at the end of the upper and lower lash line, Yves Rocher Eyeliner (01 Noir) 
Black mascara  on all lashes, Oriflame Giordani Gold Lash Panorama Mascara.

How to avoid eye shadow under the eyes (New Year's tips)

There is a simple trick to avoid eye shadow under the eyes, now before New Year's Eve when many people plan dark, glittery make-up, it is extra important and worth mentioning again!

No matter how careful you are, it is almost impossible not to get glitter under your eyes while applying makeup. Glitter is not only very volatile, but it sticks very easily everywhere and once you have glitter in the rest of the face where it should not be, it is very difficult to get rid of everything.

Therefore, apply a thick layer of loose powder under the eyes, then the glitter and the dark shadows settle in the powder instead and when you brush off the powder, all that comes with it and you have a spotless foundation when you are done!

When I handle glitter, I usually exaggerate a little more with the powder, precisely because it has a tendency to fly around so much. Then I also powder my nose, under the nose and further down the cheeks.

I use Max Factors Loose Powder to this. Many jars have a strainer and then you have to struggle a bit to get so much powder. Max Factor has a different type of strainer that is loose, and is very easy to lift off. Then it is easy both when you need a lot and a little loose powder.

A piece of paper works well to hold under as well, but I often experience that glitter has a tendency to sneak under anyway, then loose powder works better!

Wish make-up - Blue-silver New Year's make-up

“Min New Year's dress is dark blue with silvery crochet at the top. I had wanted a make-up with dark blue and white / silver. Not glittery, but preferably with shimmer! I'm not very good at painting at the bottom lash line so something very simple there would have been awesome! Hugs and thanks in advance :) For New Year, as I said, do not want glitter but like shimmer. I have dark blue-gray eyes and dark brown hair. ”

Descriptive words: Party, Eyeliner with wing, Sooted, Focus on just the eyelid, Blue, Black, White.

Din klänning är väldigt mörkt blå, och det är svårt att hitta en exakt lika nyans. Istället valde jag en lite ljusare blå som jag sotade ihop med svart. Tittar man nära så är sminkningen blå och svart, men på håll ser den mörkblå ut! På så sätt matchar man utan att det ser ut som en “missmatchning” :)

And I see that I have received many requests for just blue and silver, so I hope that many of you others can also be inspired by this look!

Make-up outside the lip contour

Att sminka läpparna större än dom är genom att måla utanför läppkonturerna, är en sak som många tycker är “big no no”.

But I do not think so! Not if you do it the right way, then it's great and effective!

If you take a lip pencil and paint outside around the whole mouth, well then you get a clown feeling that looks very unnatural. The trick is to paint the outside on certain selected parts of the lips, and adapt the shape to your own mouth.

I have already tattooed a little outside my real contours, so in the before picture my lips are not as small as they were from the beginning. But sometimes when I put on make-up, I usually cheat on the shape even more (and I'm actually eager to get a little bigger tattoo again to be honest)

Läpparna är ju lite utåtbuktande från ansiktet, även om man har små läppar, och ofta är det området faktiskt lite, lite större än vad läppen är färgad. Detta kan man börja kolla på när man ska måla läpparna större. Det är när man kommer över det som buktar utåt som det ser konstigt ut, men på många läppar kan man måla ganska långt utanför innan man kommer “över kanten”.

Precis i amorbågen i mitten på överläppen brukar jag inte måla utanför, men “höjderna” bredvid målar jag lite högre. Då blir läppen större samtidigt som amorbågen blir djupare, och det ger ett fylligare intryck.

I usually paint a little outside on the sides as well, both on the upper lip and the lower lip. It gives the mouth a softer shape that automatically feels fuller. In the corner of my mouth I do not paint outside at all, then it becomes a clown feeling. Not in the middle of the lower lip either.

The lip gloss in the pictures is Too Faced Color Bomb, in the shade Bigger Berry.
