Update - Budget makeup

2

What good reviews you gave in the post about budget makeup! Anyone who wonders which cheap brands / products work and do not work, can look in the comments field in this post. :)

I thought instead of continuing to talk about budget brands, explain a bit how I think when it comes to different product types in general.

If you have also founded with good products, you can get cheap eye shadows / pencils etc. to look much better, than if you had bought everything cheap. The same goes for expensive eye shadows, they rarely get as good results on a sloppy foundation.

Then you have to keep in mind that the cheap products do not have to be bad in the result, but they can still be of poorer quality. For example, I received a comment from a girl who had an eyeshadow palette from Viva la Diva that had crumbled for no reason. The same thing happened to me! It looked like it had been dropped on the floor even though I had not touched it, in three days each all eye shadows broken.

Product types I buy budget variants of:
Eyeshadow, Eyeliner, Rouge, Sun Powder, Eyebrow Products, Lipstick, Lip Pencil.

I product types not buys budget variants of:
Primer, foundation, powder, mascara, lip gloss, skin care.

That I buy lipstick and not lip gloss is simply because I hate lip gloss with a hard and sticky consistency, which is very common among budget gloss. I do not usually have problems with lipsticks though :)

I have probably forgotten some important product type but I hope you understand my way of thinking anyway!

Sedan vet jag inte hur ni definierar budget, jag pratar om billigare produkter än de med “normalt pris” så som IsaDora, Max Factor o.s.v.

A brand that, however, ends up a little between the price ranges is Yves Rocher! I have not tested all their stuff, but it is a brand that I like and trust both in terms of quality and ingredients!

Hope you feel a little wiser after this post, go shopping now;)

Press lunch with Yves Rocher

1

Today I was invited to a press lunch Yves Rocher, a brand I really like, great products at great prices!

I think it's so fun that I're started being invited to stuff like this since I started blogging on Modern Mom.

I do not feel like a particularly big blog even though I am bigger than many others, but when you are invited to the same stuff as Linda Hallberg and people recognize me without me knowing who they are, then you get a little self-confidence- boost of course :)

To also get bubbly and fine lunch on a regular Thursday is not entirely wrong! I am definitely not the one who says no to such nonsense, you only live once!

(Not because I'm so sure of the latter, but we can pretend;))

Colorful

2

Since you want to see more colorful make-up here in the blog (which I love, they are the most fun to do!) So I thought I would offer an old treat :) It's throwback thursday today!

I publish a make-up every day in principle, so it can be good to pick out a little older sometimes that you forgot :)

I have used these colors from this one 40-palette.

Light eye shadow In the corner of the eye.
Light blue eye shadow deepest on the eyelid.
Blue eye shadow in the middle of the eyelid.
Purple eye shadow at the end of the eyelid and along the globe line.
Pink eye shadow over the globe line.
Green eye shadow at the bottom of the lower lash line.

White eyeliner along the waterline, IsaDora Inliner Kajal (50 Satin White)
Black eyeliner along the upper lash line and at the end of the lower lash line (a lot) Peggy Sage.
Black mascara on all lashes, Peggy Sage.

Men det kommer en “färsk” partysminkning på Modern Mom senare idag också! :)

glominerals Luxe Liquid Foundation

6

Jag har hört så mycket bra om gloMinerals nya foundation “Luxe” som innehåller diamantpulver för att ge lyster till hyn, så jag var väldigt nyfiken när jag igår skulle testa den för första gången!

Application: The texture is very runny, but still feels creamy when applied to the skin. Easy to apply, in addition it feels very good, you do not need so many clicks for it to be enough for the whole face.

Results: It evens out the skin tone well, covers large pores, the result is very natural and the skin feels soft and smooth afterwards. I also reacted to the fact that it stayed dull for a very long time, a big plus for people with oily skin. It also turned out well on my slightly drier parts of the face.

Conclusion: To cost a 500 note, however, I would have liked more coverage, it looks good in the pictures but I actually supplemented with a concealer as soon as I finished taking pictures and would go out. But it all depends on what you are looking for!

I can imagine that this is perfect for people with mature skin because the result is so natural, and also has an anti-aging effect. And it is not a student foundation directly considering the price.

  • Contains diamond powder.
  • Contains an exclusive antioxidant blend, vitamin A, C & E and Green Tea Extract.
  • UV protection.
  • SPF 15.

Any of you who tested? What did you think?
