I have been using Manukahonung MGO 600+ for a while to relieve my sore throat and try to get rid of my recurring sore throat / throat infections. So...
I tested a bit with my new lens and did not think at all about what I looked like. Had only had time to smear on some basic make-up, otherwise I was completely awake!
Then when I saw this picture, completely relaxed and unmade-up eyes, I felt that I still wanted to share :)
I had not been awake for many minutes, but still my eyes look big and alert thanks to my makeup tattoos!
I have tattooed lashliner and inliner, ie along the lash lines and the waterline. Black eyeliner along the upper lash line, dark brown thinner on the lower lash line, and light along the waterline.
The eyes always look alert thanks to this!
Perfect if you do not have the strength to put on make-up every day, or if you are going abroad! Just coloring the lashes and then you look fresh all the time.
It was now a few weeks since my sister Mia got to be a guinea pig for the newly launched gel polish Amberlaque, because I had just fixed my nails at the salon.
“Det höll jävligt bra” she answered when I asked how it went :)
At first I thought you would have a specific remover, which I did not have. But when I then read more carefully, I realized that you remove the varnish with a regular remover, which you just hold extra long against the nail. Of course, I forgot to inform my sister about this, so we have not tested it yet.
But it was easy to pull it off without any problems, she said, so kind of scrape it off. I used to do that with Depends Gellack as well, but you have to be careful not to ruin the nail, it depends on the quality. Depend was a little easier to pull off without a remover, this was a little harder and did not come loose as in a whole piece.
In any case, Mia's nails were absolutely beautiful after she received Amberlaque, much better quality than she usually has :)
What is so good about this varnish is that it is only a one-step varnish. No base coats and top coats that also need to be cured! And they are completely dry when you have them under the lamp, no sticky surface :)
I have received many questions about whether you can use this varnish under the Depends lamp, and yes why not. Have not tried, but it should be lamp as lamp? Just to have this under for 60 seconds instead of 30.

I think that if you prioritize a little better quality on certain products, then you can without a doubt indulge in budget stuff without getting a worse result!
A good foundation, mascara and eye shadow primer is what I think is important. But when it comes to mascara and primer, the price does not have to be particularly high for it. Lumen eyeshadow primer costs SEK 115 at Kicks and lasts a very long time.
Lumene has become one of my new favorite brands actually, theirs CC Cream (SEK 145) I can also recommend!
As for eyeshadow brushes, I can actually recommend a double brush from H&M for only SEK 30:
The oblique one is good for eyebrows and the lower lash line, and the fluffy one is good when you want to blur the eye shadow on the eyelid. H&M does not have much of their make-up on the website, but before that they at least had even more make-up brushes that are actually not completely shameful.
And if you only need everyday make-up and nothing that has to sit like a rock, I can also recommend H & M's pencils, both brow pencils and eyeliner pencils. On that front, I also like IsaDora, but then the price rises a little.
With Lumene's eyeshadow primer, you can buy basically any eyeshadow and it will be good anyway! Cheap palettes, H&M, and so on.
However, if you are very interested in make-up and know that you will continue more and more, I know from experience that the cheapest is to buy large sets. For example, a 252 palette and one brushed in 25 parts from iMys.se. Maybe even the lipstick palette with 66 shades? :)
This + Lumenes eyeshadow primer is a long way off!
If you buy small items, you will shop more and more all the time, and in the end the make-up bag is crammed with different items that take up space while the wallet echoes.
This is a thousand bucks at a time, but the brushes cost SEK 12 / pc if you think that the bag is free. The eye shadows cost SEK 1.50 / pc and the lipsticks SEK 3 / pc. It just will not be much cheaper than that :)
