I have written about my new skin care Exuviance on Modern Mom before, and now I finally finally feel that I'm starting to get pli on my oily skin!
It has only been about 3 weeks since I started using Exuviance so this is not the end result, but I already notice a big difference on my skin. I was shocked today when I came home and checked myself in the mirror, after working extra at Mjölnarens Mat & Café during the day.
I have not powdered on me one single once since I put on make-up at 8 this morning, and when I got home at 16 I was barely oily at all!
This is what the bathroom shelf looks like now.
There are a few different lights in the pictures as it differs in daylight from the window, but you see the important thing - how shiny or not shiny I am!
The shiny picture is photographed only 4 hours after I powdered myself, and today's picture is after 8 hours without powder and then I have even been away and worked.

As you can see, I was at an event with the makeup brand Oriflame the other day, super nice and above all inspiring!
Makeup-artisten Jonas Wramell visade sina favoritlooker på tre modeller, och gav massvis med tips. En mening han sa som jag fastnade för, och även har skrivit mycket om i bloggen tidigare, var “you can not only practice the technique and application, you must also practice looking different“.
That's right, many people get stuck in old routines and feel uncomfortable in everything else. You may think that a make-up is as good-looking as you like, but you do not have to feel looks good just for that.

Nyanserna är väldigt naturliga eftersom dom är ganska kalla och “råttfärgade”. En för varm brynskugga blir väldigt onaturligt, om man inte är rödhårig.
I have put the slightly darker color at the bottom of the eyebrow and in the outer edges. I have put the lighter one on top of the inner part of the eyebrow, for a more natural result.
Finish with the eyebrow wax to make the straws lie perfectly all day!

Here is a make-up that is very practical when you want to be a little extra spooky, without being much more made-up than just foundation and mascara.
I had this look yesterday when I was at a funeral, you want to be nice at the same time as you prefer to go without make-up. But you still do not want to be completely unmade up as you usually have a little nicer clothes.
But this look is also perfect as a job / school make-up or if you just want to be extra yours at a dinner party!
In addition to mascara, I have put shimmery highlighter in the corner of the eye and white eyeliner along the waterline.
It opens up the eye and does a lot for the overall impression, matched with colorful lips, the look is complete!

“Mineralsmink är naturligt och bra för huden” det är ungefär så kortfattat jag har analyserat detta med mineralsmink.
But since I got into the brand nudh mineral a little more, I have become interested in what is really meant by mineral makeup, and all the strange words that are in the table of contents.
Frågan om man kan vara allergisk mot mineralsmink får oftast svaret “det är som att vara allergisk mot sten”. Svårt att förstå, innan jag själv höll dessa i handen:

I studied the table of contents of the nudh mineral products, and the most common ingredients are Mica, Iron Oxide, Titanium Dioxide and Zindoxide. Some products contain only these 4 substances, and some only two of them and nothing else. So I checked them out on google!

“Mica is a mica mineral extracted from rocks such as granite, mica shale and gneiss. Mica is an aqueous silicate mineral, which occurs in packs of thin flat highly shiny and light-reflecting leaves. To be used in cosmetics, the mica is finely purified and powdered. Mica is available in all conceivable colors and degrees of luster.
Micropigment, som titanium dioxide and zinc oxide, excellent for people with allergy-prone skin. The advantage of micropigment is its excellent compatibility with the skin. Because they adhere easily to the skin, the sun's rays are reflected directly on the surface of the skin and do not penetrate the skin.
The most common the iron oxides used are yellow, red, brown and black. They are mainly used in surfaces but also to darken a formula that has become too light or in lip color. All iron oxides used are approved for coloring cosmetics. "

Other exciting ingredients in just nudh mineral are cornmeal, castor oil, soy wax and beeswax. Castor oil has been suggested by many when I lost my lashes, and it is available in nudh minerals mascara!
One substance to look out for in mineral makeup is bismuth oxide chloride, also called bismuth. The substance itself is not dangerous, but is chemically similar to arsenic which can cause redness and itching.
Nudh mineral is completely free of talc, oil, bismuth, preservatives and perfume.
