When I did this makeup, I would not really do a step-by-step makeup for the blog because I did not have much time. But our new glitter from Pixi made me so craving for makeup that it became quite a lot of eye makeup in the end anyway haha.
I really wanted to see how the glitter RoseGold got together with the peach golden eye shadow in the Rebel Angel palette from glo Shadow Quad - the answer is that it will be superduperfine!
Jag fotade en lite suddig bild för att visa er glittret mer tydligt. Detta är en jättefin “Holliday makeup” för alla som gillar jordnära toner. Den är brun på ett rödbrunt sätt och ljus på ett roséigt sätt, om ni förstår hur jag menar :) Kortfattat lite roligare en ljusbeige och brunt fast lika lätt att bära upp!
Here you can clearly see how much of the bling-bling effect disappears on the glitter when you take a picture with good focus, if you compare this picture with the first picture in the post. On the eye on the side that is in focus, you see the glitter better too!
This look would have been crazy nice for more colorful lips as well, e.g. dark pink, yummy! Sometimes I get the urge to show the same makeup in different lip colors, hairstyles and outfits just to show how easy it is to vary the same eye makeup :)
It feels a little skewed to think back on the week that has been because we have had so much time, so it feels like two weeks in the same!
It may feel like that because we have done a lot on several various areas - when I wrote my last Sunday post just a week ago we had not even started the renovation of the new salon, the new schedule for 2019 was not finished yet and not even my photo corner at home was ready so I had not been able to take a single step -for-step-make-up in the new house / cottage than.
But now there are even more balls rolling and it is progressing by leaps and bounds!
Lunch with Peragenda
Last Monday I, Miska and Annika had lunch with Tommy who runs the company Peragenda, he kept up with the great business development we did almost 3 years ago. I'm 99% convinced that we had not been on the ballot with the company for so long and got it as good as it is now - if it were not for Tommy and Matilda at Peragenda. It is thanks to them that we have such a good structure with communication, routines, meetings, goals, sub-goals and that the staff are involved in everything.
It's so much fun talking business with Tommy! I said we should start an entrepreneurial podcast together haha.
Han är nördigt insatt i hur hjärnan fungerar och refererar ofta till olika studier vad man än pratar om, plötsligt flikar han in med meningar som “There is a study that shows that man hates loss 3 times more than he likes profit” obs nu minns jag inte om “3 gånger” var rätt så det kanske är lite faktafel men ni förstår poängen :) Jag älskar sånt! Att koppla ihop verkliga händelser med mental träning, förståelse för hjärnan och konkret problemlösning. Det blir inte bara floskler och citat som låter bra men inte går att applicera på verkligheten på ett enkelt sätt, utan konkret hur man ska lösa alla situationerna också, om ni förstår vad jag menar?
And so it feels a bit nostalgic to talk about the trip we made too, Tommy was involved from the beginning of the merger as we had lots of problems both because everything was new to everyone with such a large salon, but also because we were new managers completely without experience in connection with a staff that is far from as efficient and ambitious as we have today! Tommy is so proud of us he says, haha! It warms! :)
One more salon baby in May & new schedule 2019
Now the schedule for 2019 is finally ready and open for bookings. We opened all makeup artists for June and now the next step is to plan holidays so that we can open the schedule for the summer, all wedding bookings will start coming in soon!
Ett gupp på vägen (men ett roligt sådant!) är att Lisa kom in på kontoret och berättade att hon har en bebis i magen! Waah! ♥ Det kändes som en milstolpe för mig att vara “personen bakom skrivbordet” när man går in och berättat nyheten för chefen liksom. Det var en first time! Jag flög upp ur stolen och gav henne en stoor kram!! Så kul!!
So Lisa's schedule is only open April and we already have a makeup artist on the line who is interested. She will come and do test makeup at the salon first just so we can assess her knowledge in reality before she gets the job, but she feels spotless! She has just won the Cidesco Makeup & Bodyart Competition 2018 and also does effect makeup and hair styling.
Så Lisas “mamma-vikarie” och semesterschemat är kvar på min to do, men det viktigaste inför salongsflytten är ordnat nu i alla fall!
Then we could also advertise our relocation on social media!
Started renovation of the new salon
The salon we are moving to is, as I mentioned earlier, the same room that Annika had before we merged 3 years ago. Then it was completely renovated and fresh but after a number of tenants the floor is really worn, a wall has been moved so we have to tear it down and build a new one and in addition all the walls are crammed of nail holes and plugs. In addition, the latest tenant had left a lot of stuff as well, so the first item on the list was to get the room empty.
So there is a lot of work to be done before we can move all the furniture there on weekdays, but we are already well on our way! :)
Here I stand and punch holes in the wall! When we moved from Gimo, I only brought clothes that I am using right now, because the move is not completely finished yet, so I had no clothes I could ruin with paint - then I had to borrow this shitty jumpsuit that Annika has sewn! She threw it together to test different seams on her new sewing machine so it should not be used anyway, and you have to look good when you also paint;)
We had sandpaper left over from when we were renovating our current premises - but no wooden block. Then you have to be a little clever and I felt unreasonably smart when I realized that a tops box works just as well!
Here I paint with a make-up brush as a brush as well - you take what you have! :)
Now half the salon is painted and the wall I was talking about is not only demolished but also built in the right place as well! So next week the rest of the walls will be painted and then we will paint the floors as well (we have a fun idea for the floors which I hope will be as good as it is in our heads !!) then the basic job is done.
We are investing in being completely finished with the actual renovation work by next Sunday, but I am an incredible time optimist when it comes to renovation so I do not dare to promise too much haha.
The photo studio is ready!
This week I have been able to put on make-up in the new photo studio corner every morning and also make blog material with step-by-step make-up and product photos :) The first step was to get everything here, the second step was to clean the attic so that I could place with everything and the last step was to get good light with a white background.
I found a roll of white oilcloth at the salon, unfortunately it consisted of several small parts and not a large one, but after a bit of thinking I got it great!
När en makeupartist leker snickare… ;) Jag slipar med tops, målar med sminkborstar och hamrar med ansiktsprimer, det roliga är att dessa bilder är 100% äkta och inget jag gjort för att vara lite “tokig”. Jag insåg inte ens mitt snickar-tema förrän jag skrev upp “ta med sminkborstar till målning” på min to do-list haha!
This is what my photo corner looks like now! White wax cloth as a background and two small pieces that cover the small windows above. The windows are not visible in my pictures, but if it is bright outside, there will be backlight so they still needed to be covered.
Jag har även fått nya samples på en av produkterna till sminkmärket vi vill starta och det börjar närma sig riktig kvalité nu hörrni, ååh det var så roligt att verkligen känna “yes! here we have it!”Then it takes a lot more tests before I am 100% safe but there is nothing that makes me as happy as really good products!
På tal om nya idéer så kläckte vi ännu en företagsidé här om dagen, nu när vi bor ihop med Annika så finns det ingen hejd på oss haha. Detta är en idé som inte har med skönhetsbranschen att göra utan den kom utifrån våra diskussioner kring graviditet och “snipp-hälsa” kan man säga. Sjukt smart är den! Vi ska göra lite research ;)

Month end & homework
I tisdags skulle vi på förlossningskurs men den blev inställd så vi jobbade hemifrån istället. Bland annat tog jag tag i rapporterna från november och bockade av hela min “checklista vid månadsslut-lista” med allt som ska göras varje månadsslut. Löner ska in och rapporter och statistik ska ordnas. Det är jätteviktigt att ha koll på ekonomin! Detta kommer jag nog aldrig delegera ut till personalen för då skulle jag inte ha stenkoll längre :)
När jag jobbar hemma på heltid så måste jag vara mer strukturerad med “detta är min arbetsstol och här sitter jag alltid när jag jobbar och aldrig när jag är ledig” för att separera jobb och fritid. Men när jag nu bara jobbar hemma då och då så får man gosa ner sig i sängen med godis och kattmys samtidigt ;)
My cat Viktoria thrives so well in her new home! She is more outdoors now than she ever was in Gimo (where she mostly lay on the couch and lazed) and runs in the woods, mischief on the stairs and always wants to lie under the covers when we are in bed ♥
Nu ska jag, Miska och Annika på den där förlossningskursen som blev inställd i tisdags! Det är en “föda utan rädsla-kurs”. Ska bli så spännande! Vi pratar redan jättemycket om andningstekniker, avslappningsövningar m.m men det står olika överallt så det ska bli kul att få en ordentligt genomgång av denna teknik.
Jag tycker faktiskt att det är lika roligt att visa er färgsprakande och kreativa sminkningar som det är att visa enkla “steg för steg-tips” som ni har användning för i vardagen.
My makeup passion is based on product love and being able to teach unlike many other makeup artists who are more artist souls who paint on faces :)
Here is therefore exactly such a make-up where I show you how to quickly and easily enliven a light make-up with glitter and shimmer! The only things I have used are a luminous highlighter and a matte light brown shadow (contouring shadow) which is the same as I use on the face, then liquid glitter, a little black eye shadow (or eyeliner if you prefer) and mascara.
The result is a bright but shimmering make-up (sparkles even nicer in reality!) That suits all occasions - everything from everyday to gala! For me, it's my standard everyday look the days I do not take photos step by step to the blog;)
This lip combo is my absolute favorite combo (have blogged about it before too) but especially now that I have a big cold sore on the side of the lower lip, gaah. But to create a little illusion, I put the lip pencil and darken the edges next to it, then the lip balm which is a little lighter and a little glossy in the middle - the transition ends up right at the cold sore and results in it becoming less prominent. It is barely visible in the pictures?

Att ljusa upp i ögonvrån, mitten av ögonlocket och precis under brynet ger blicken en mer “poppande” effekt. Jag lägger även lite svagt med brun skugga längs globlinjen för att få ännu mer effekt.
Detta funkar på alla ögonformer men jag gillar det extra mycket på mig själv som har ett ganska “platt” ögonlock, förstår ni vad jag menar med det? Då får ögat en mer rundad/3D-form vilket är kul att fuska fram ibland :)

Many liquid glitter and glitter eyeliners can be more difficult to apply than loose glitter + liquid, I think, it is important that the cream in which the glitter is mixed is a quick-drying and comfortable formula that does not soak up the eye shadow. But these liquid glitters are incredibly easy to apply and so heavenly nice and durable, full score :)
I myself have glitter every day throughout December, even if it's just as little as a bright glitter click in the corner of my eye. Love it!
These liquid glitters sit like a rock all day and moisturize the sensitive skin around the eyes with extracts from chamomile and rose.
The glitter is not full coverage in one go (but you can work up coverage with more layers) but the best thing I think is that end their makeup with these glitter, so do not use these completely alone but together with other eye shadows.
Den vita och den guldiga är gudomligt snygga att bara dutta lite i ögonvrån men alla funkar som “topping” på vilken ögonskugga som helst. Ett snabbt sätt att göra vilken sminkning som helst mer festlig oavsett om den är ljus, mörk eller färgglad :)

The glitter is available in 5 colors:
Crystalline is light with glitter grains in white silver that shimmers in mother of pearl
SunRay is a perfect gold color
RoseGold is a nice rosé color, trendy;)
BareBrilliance is brown in a slightly colder tone, which I like, it is not so warm yellow-brown
PassionLight is a deep copper color with gold glitter
I also took a picture without flash to bring out the glitter effect more, love!

I did a sooty New Year's make-up with gold glitter and this liquid glitter is really easy to apply and becomes so effective and nice :) So happy !!
This sweeping is perfect for you who like cat eye and eyelinervinge but have difficulty getting it, e.g. if you have slightly drooping eyelids.
Dab with the pen so that you get a more faded effect + elongated cat eye shape.
Black eye shadow on the rest of the eyelid, stop at the crease, fade out, Paese Kashmir eyeshadow (602)
Golden brown shadow in the globe line and a little in the middle of the eyelid, Paese Opal Eyeshadow Trio (Golden brown)
Finally time for the nice glitter! First put in the corner of the eye where you want the most, then when you have less glitter cream on the applicator, you dab up easily on the eyelid. Very simple! Pixi Liquid Fairy Lights (SunRay)
