N\u00e4r l\u00f6rdagen kom s\u00e5 k\u00e4nde jag bara “pjuh, jag klarade av den h\u00e4r veckan ocks\u00e5!” :)<\/p>\n

Preparations for 1 November<\/strong>
\nThe whole Monday and Tuesday basically consisted only of finishing everything before 1 November when all 16 campaign photos (you can see 4 of them on the front page of Creativemakeup.se<\/a>) would be ready, all news would be up in the webshop and then we had autumn events in the evening as well. At the same time as all other regular work must be kept up as usual.<\/p>\n

This Tuesday I therefore worked from home and wore in front of the computer, but you can still have it cozy:<\/p>\n

Bonfire, rag socks, coffee and the computer in your lap on the sofa :) It's easy to sit from morning to night and work when you make it a cozy moment!<\/p>\n

Autumn event at the salon!<\/strong>
\nThis Wednesday we had an autumn event at the salon, always just as fun!<\/p>\n

We love events and have nailed 2 large events a year - one for spring \/ summer and one for autumn \/ winter. Then we have some plans for smaller theme events, for example an evening for just Hairology and hair analyzes and stuff that I hope we get started with soon :)<\/p>\n

Here is the make-up place where I would hold a presentation about the news and show off the products of my sister Mia who posed as a model during the evening :)<\/p>\n

So much fun when the store is full of people who want makeup tips and product recommendations! The only thing that is sad is that I never have time to talk to everyone, we have more makeup artists so everyone gets help but I<\/em> want to have time to chat with everyone too haha :)<\/p>\n

We had really good offers on products and also all the treatments that were booked on site!<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Annika welcomes everyone here!<\/p>\n

During our presentation, Annika presented our staff and talked a bit about that beauty is wellness, which we realized after working in this industry for a long time now. Many people think that we work with only beauty and surface, but to take care of yourself and be cared for and do something just for your own sake is actually health and wellness as well. Seeing a lively person in the mirror also makes the brain feel livelier and happier!<\/p>\n

Then \u00c4mma talked about fibroblast (you can read more about that treatment here<\/a>) and that she is now ready to take apprenticeships for lashliner for only 1500: -! This was not an offer just for the evening but everyone who booked had the first thing on the times in November and December and I think there is only one bookable time left now :)<\/p>\n

Helene talked about her treatments and mostly about the popular carboxy cure that makes the skin heal itself and removes stretch marks, fat cells and much more. You can read about it here<\/a> also.<\/p>\n

Then it was my turn and I tipped everyone about beauty guides<\/a> we have on the website but mainly I showed all our news!<\/p>\n

I really had to struggle to be reasonably concise, I can talk about our products for exactly any length of time haha.<\/p>\n

Then it was mingling and make-up tips, trying out colors, helping customers book appointments and socializing and mingling around with all the good customers that mattered :)<\/p>\n

A very successful event in other words!<\/p>\n

Kissing meetings <\/strong>(p<\/strong>personal u<\/strong>developmentss<\/strong>amtal)
\nLast Thursday we had kissing meetings again, which we always have at the beginning of each month. Before we started with these, I thought that these meetings might be a bit redundant because we have staff meetings with the whole team every other week + a small company with good communication already. But I really have to strike a blow to sit down alone with each person and talk - it gives an incredible amount!<\/p>\n

Just this week, the kiss meetings have felt extra important and several misunderstandings have been rectified, urgent things have come up that need to be resolved and I am so grateful to work with people who are open so that you can solve things at an early stage. It creates more jobs for me now but will reduce the number of problems in the future :)<\/p>\n

We have these kiss meetings for the staff to develop, but I myself probably develop at least as much actually haha!<\/p>\n

Blogging<\/strong>
\nDen h\u00e4r veckan lovade jag mig sj\u00e4lv att blogga varje dag trots att jag haft mycket p\u00e5 g\u00e5ng –\u00a0men jag missade\u00a0fredag och l\u00f6rdag, attans! Det h\u00e4r med antal blogginl\u00e4gg har verkligen sjunkit i bloggv\u00e4rlden de senaste \u00e5ren och jag h\u00f6r fler prata om “inl\u00e4gg i veckan” \u00e4n “inl\u00e4gg om dagen” som man sa f\u00f6rut. 5-7 inl\u00e4gg i veckan k\u00e4nns ganska vanligt? Jag vet inte om det beror p\u00e5\u00a0att bloggare i regel har mycket fler bollar i luften nu och inte har lika mycket tid att blogga, eller om det \u00e4r l\u00e4sarna som har det och inte har tid att kolla en blogg\u00a0flera g\u00e5nger om dagen?<\/p>\n

3 years ago I made 3 posts a day on Imakeyousmile.se and one post a day on Modernmom.se - Laila Bagge and Pernilla Wahlgren's blog page where I wrote about beauty before it was discontinued and they started blogging in different places again. So 4 posts a day!<\/p>\n

Now my standard is one post a day and I think it feels right. There is something new every day you go in but if you have missed a few days it is not a whole book to read as well.<\/p>\n

Hur mycket uppdatering tycker ni \u00e4r lagom? :) M\u00e4rker ni ens om jag missat att blogga tv\u00e5 dagar i rad? :)\u00a0I dagsl\u00e4get \u00e4r det ju lite mer Instagram\u00a0som g\u00e4ller och jag f\u00e5r ofta h\u00f6ra “jag f\u00f6ljer dig p\u00e5 instagram” ist\u00e4llet f\u00f6r “jag l\u00e4ser din blogg”\u00a0av kunder p\u00e5 salongen. Men jag upplever \u00e4nd\u00e5 att jag har mer f\u00f6ljare och liv i bloggen \u00e4n p\u00e5 Instagram. M\u00e5ste f\u00f6r \u00f6vrigt bli b\u00e4ttre p\u00e5 uppdateringen p\u00e5 Instagram ocks\u00e5 haha, men jag tycker det \u00e4r s\u00e5 meckigt att man m\u00e5ste anv\u00e4nda telefonen – jag \u00e4r en datorperson :)<\/p>\n

Att alltid “ligga efter” i\u00a0planeringen p.g.a att man sj\u00e4lv s\u00e4tter en orimlig planering<\/strong>
\nAs a self-employed person, you decide for yourself how to set up your work, which is a huge advantage, but I also have a tendency to put too much on my to-do list, which means that I am always behind. For how much I\u00a0wants<\/em>\u00a0catch up and how much I\u00a0can\u00a0<\/em>catching up are two different things, then there are some urgent things that take even time as well.<\/p>\n

Och det \u00e4r precis dom tankarna jag sitter med just nu. Som ni vet s\u00e5 renoverar vi hemma och i fredags jobbade jag hemifr\u00e5n f\u00f6r att kunna pensla p\u00e5 vaxoljan p\u00e5 golven p\u00e5 nederv\u00e5ningen n\u00e4r\u00a0alla var p\u00e5 jobb. Men jag hade verkligen inte trott att det skulle ta s\u00e5 l\u00e5ng tid utan planerade att f\u00e5\u00a0massa\u00a0jobb gjort under torkningstiden. Jag hade en romantiserad bild av att m\u00e5la golvet fram till\u00a0arbetsrummet (d\u00e4r golvet redan \u00e4r f\u00e4rdigt)\u00a0och sen vara “inm\u00e5lad” och fast\u00a0med att jobba och f\u00e5 s\u00e5\u00e5 mycket gjort haha.<\/p>\n

But my incredibly long to do list I did not even have time to touch. I started brushing on the floors when Miska went to work and drew the last brushstrokes when he got home, had dinner with my sister when it dried (2 hours drying time) then I brushed the second layer in one of the rooms and then the evening was over.<\/p>\n

So nothing on my to do list was urgent and can just as well wait until Monday, but only because I had\u00a0Certainly<\/em>\u00a0att allt det skulle vara f\u00e4rdigt s\u00e5\u00a0har det gnagt i mig under helgen att “jag ligger efter” och jag har j\u00e4ttesv\u00e5rt att best\u00e4mma mig nu f\u00f6r om jag ska k\u00e4ka godis i s\u00e4ngen och titta p\u00e5 film resten av s\u00f6ndagen eller om jag ska jobba ist\u00e4llet haha.<\/p>\n

But it is actually also the case that you are more efficient when you are rested, so now I will actually snuggle under a blanket for the rest of Sunday and let go of all demands and musts without a guilty conscience :)<\/p>\n
