I was thinking now that god what luck that I do not have the worst news that I will make official in this post today, because then you would have just thought it was a 1st April joke;)<\/p>\n

Last week there was basically no rest at all and now I kicked off this week with a freelance job and an unusual amount of customer bookings on me, so last Friday when I woke up it was actually quite nice not to have to go to Uppsala :) But I have fun had!<\/p>\n

Makeup job at Disruptive Materials<\/strong>
\nF\u00f6retaget Disruptive Materials (som jag jobbar en del med) h\u00e5ller p\u00e5 att fota nya bilder till sin hemsida, s\u00e5 jag kom dit i m\u00e5ndags och sminkade p\u00e5 rullande band! Det skulle bli portr\u00e4ttbilder, en gruppbild och \u00e4ven n\u00e5gra “in action-bilder” n\u00e4r dom st\u00e5r i labbet t.ex. S\u00e5 en kille gjorde jag manikyr p\u00e5 ocks\u00e5 d\u00e5 han skulle h\u00e5lla i n\u00e5gon labb-pryl :)<\/p>\n

12 personer totalt var det jag sminkade tror jag, men jag var klar p\u00e5 3 timmar d\u00e5 det var mycket “quick fix-sminkningar”.<\/p>\n

I did not have time to take pictures as it was full speed to be in phase with the photographer's planning schedule, but a quick picture of my presented dressing table I had time to take before we started :)<\/p>\n

Lika mycket tid man l\u00e4gger ner p\u00e5 sj\u00e4lva uppdraget \u00e4r det i arbetstid b\u00e5de f\u00f6re och efter n\u00e4r man som mig inte frilansar s\u00e5 ofta. Jag har liksom ingen f\u00e4rdig “frilansv\u00e4ska” utan packar produkter och planerar borstar i all evighet och skriver listor f\u00f6r att inte gl\u00f6mma n\u00e5tt, och sen n\u00e4r man \u00e4r klar s\u00e5 ska allt packas upp igen och reng\u00f6ras. Och d\u00e5 \u00e4r det ju en del restid och sl\u00e4pandes d\u00e4remellan ocks\u00e5. S\u00e5 det \u00e4r lite b\u00f6kigare \u00e4n man kan tro!<\/p>\n

Work from home one afternoon<\/strong>
\nTuesday was a really good work day! I worked at the salon all morning and got a lot done, then after lunch my sister Mia came by the salon after a hairdresser visit because she wanted to take a new hair test with Hairology. So then I went home with her in the car and worked in the photo studio!<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

I did this make-up then, you dare to try new things when you are not going to work at the salon afterwards. Otherwise I always put on make-up in the morning :)<\/p>\n

Hairology job!
\n<\/strong>Last week I was on training with hairology as you know, and now I am summarizing lots of info to 1. the website (questions and answers about Hairology) 2. a post in the blog and 3. to all Hairologists at the salon but new tips and tricks on how to think like I learned in training last week :)<\/p>\n

I really think this with Hairology is sooo fun!<\/p>\n

And since I also mentioned above that Mia came and did a hair test after the hairdresser's visit, I can not help but tell you about that result. Mia is an exemplary Hairology customer, by exemplary I mean that she not only buys the products but she uses them diligently as well and exactly according to the recommendations with packaging and everything. Since we live together, I can certify you that it is true;)<\/p>\n

Nu har hon blekt h\u00e5ret j\u00e4ttemycket och g\u00e5tt fr\u00e5n m\u00f6rkbrunt till balayage-blond med v\u00e4ldigt ljusa l\u00e4ngder med tv\u00e5 blekningar p\u00e5 tre m\u00e5nader. S\u00e5 hon ville g\u00f6ra ett test f\u00f6r att se om hon beh\u00f6ver n\u00e5gra andra produkter efter detta och jag svarade “det \u00e4r bra att g\u00f6ra ett test men eftersom du \u00e4r s\u00e5 duktig med produkterna s\u00e5 borde kvalit\u00e9n h\u00e5lla sig relativt bra \u00e4nd\u00e5”.<\/p>\n

Her world was almost completely optimal! Tiny a bit dry in the middle of the hair but we are not talking a whole step on the scale that is between 1-10 but 0.2 separated it from a completely optimal value.<\/p>\n

So awesome! This enlightenment on two hairdresser visits and yet absolutely perfect quality! It pays to be careful with the hair care products :)<\/p>\n

The afterimage is from the hair salon's instagram @thecreativezone and you can book an appointment with them creativezone.se<\/a>, it was Elin who did Mia's hair. I asked Mia if they used Olaplex but she did not know, they had not said anything about it anyway.<\/p>\n

Test person for a new apprentice!<\/strong>
\nOlga who has worked as a makeup artist with us for over a year has now taken the next step in development and will become an apprentice for permanent makeup woop woop!<\/p>\n

When a new person is to be trained, it is more work to get started than you might think, she has lots of bookings, Annika has lots of bookings so just finding the times to get started is a little puzzle. Now we are done with that planning and Olga started by tattooing on a fake skin, then filled in a body tattoo on Miska's legs, then she tested a little highlighter under Annika's eyebrows and on Wednesday she also got to tattoo my lips!<\/p>\n

I do not know how many times I have tattooed my lips now, you might think I am addicted haha! But I am often a test person so it does not always attach so well. It will be exciting to see the result after this time because Olga felt like a natural talent, another would have been a bit clumsy with how to hold the machine and stuff but she felt so extremely confident, steady on her hand and she quickly got the color nicely in the skin as well. I did not get completely bruised if you say so, and the healing has gone very smoothly, I must say :) Very impressed!<\/p>\n

We only drove the upper lip because it is where it is needed most, and it's nice not to have such a large area that heals now over the weekend when you have to laugh, talk and eat a lot :)<\/p>\n

“Vad \u00e4r det v\u00e4rsta som kan h\u00e4nda?”<\/strong>
\nThis week I listened to an interview with Hannah Widell in The Success Podcast, really good episode! Since I listened to her and Amanda a lot in the Friday podcast, I already knew that they have a very similar corporate mindset to me, and that feeling did not immediately weaken after this interview!<\/p>\n

En sak som jag och Miska pratade en del om efter poddavsnittet \u00e4r det “v\u00e5gade, modiga” t\u00e4nket som man pratar om att entrepren\u00f6rer har. Men jag har aldrig riktigt k\u00e4nt sj\u00e4lv att jag varit just modig f\u00f6r det \u00e4r faktiskt inte en j\u00e4ttestor risk att starta f\u00f6retag (s\u00e5 l\u00e4nge man inte bel\u00e5nar huset eller s\u00e5nt s\u00e5 klart). \u00c4r man r\u00e4dd f\u00f6r misslyckandet i sig s\u00e5 \u00e4r det s\u00e5 klart en risk, men jag, Annika och Miska s\u00e4ger ofta “vad \u00e4r det v\u00e4rsta som kan h\u00e4nda?” och det hade Hanna ett bra svar p\u00e5 i podden –\u00a0om att g\u00e5r \u00e5t skogen s\u00e5 f\u00e5r man v\u00e4l g\u00e5 tillbaka till att b\u00f6rja jobba igen bara! Det finns massor av arbetsgivare som skulle \u00e4lska att ha mig som anst\u00e4lld! Hon har varit skuldsatt upp till \u00f6ronen och haft 1,50:- p\u00e5 kontot och hon \u00f6verlevde d\u00e5 ocks\u00e5.<\/p>\n

Den enda p\u00e5 riktigt stora risken med f\u00f6retagandet \u00e4r om man tappar h\u00e4lsan i all stress, att man br\u00e4nner ut sig. Vilket inte Hannah pratade om men som b\u00f6r till\u00e4ggas f\u00f6r det \u00e4r en riktig risk. Men varje g\u00e5ng jag v\u00e4rderar alla andra risker s\u00e5 blir slutsatsen alltid “ja men d\u00e5 k\u00f6r vi d\u00e5!” :)<\/p>\n

Throws in a pretty fitting picture, here is a peppered Helena in front of the computer in November 2013 - The year I started my first web shop! SEK 23,000 is the only thing I put into the company myself, then I started with a few products and of the profit I only bought more products and never took a salary once from my individual company in fact. What if I had not dared to take that step there in 2013, then I would not have had a company with a turnover of 3 million now in 2018 :)<\/p>\n

Holy Easter<\/strong>
\nP\u00e5skhelgen har varit lite “helig” f\u00f6r mig de senaste tv\u00e5 \u00e5ren, inte p\u00e5 ett religi\u00f6st s\u00e4tt utan f\u00f6r att det varit s\u00e5 intensivt med jobb sen vi \u00f6ppnade salongen. Men just p\u00e5skhelgen har vi haft st\u00e4ngt och 4 dagars ledighet (\/hemmajobb) vilket k\u00e4nns som v\u00e4rsta semesterLYX! Framf\u00f6r allt det f\u00f6rsta \u00e5ret d\u00e5 jag under denna period jobbade alla l\u00f6rdagar sj\u00e4lv och alltid 6-dagarsveckor p\u00e5 salongen.<\/p>\n

This year we are open on Saturday but closed the red days, but I do not work on Saturday either so even this Easter it is a long holiday :) So the end of the week has only been about recharging the batteries and filling up the energy account with positive energy and hanging out with the family !<\/p>\n

This is how nice we have had it at the checkout this week! So it was a good week to have extra customers because it was so nice when you had to pay later :)<\/p>\n

Now I will continue to enjoy the Easter weekend!<\/p>\n
