Good morning Sunday!<\/p>\n

The sun is shining and I am very happy with the week that has been :)<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Our Spain plans have received a push!<\/strong>
\nI have mentioned before that we want to live in Spain and work remotely, last week I also wrote that we had just got the idea to start a salon in Spain as well!<\/p>\n

In normal cases, I do not usually go out with all our ideas before something is nailed down, but it can be a fun follow-up, I think, that you have been the only one since we hatched the idea and started dreaming as well :)<\/p>\n

The update on the subject is that the law of attraction or the universe seems to like this idea!<\/p>\n

1. On Monday I spoke to a customer who has lived in Spain (in different places) and said that Fuengirola is the best place to have the salon and that the best accommodation (for our wishes) is in Mijas Costa which is just outside. In Fuengirola, there is a great demand for Swedish services and from what she knew, there are not many beauty salons there either. I had never heard of Fuengirola before, we have mostly watched Malaga and Nerja :)<\/p>\n

2. I torsdags b\u00f6rjade jag snicksnacka med en annan kund som satt i v\u00e4ntrummet medan jag servade med kaffe, gav bed\u00f6vning (inf\u00f6r bryntatuering) m.m och efter en stund ber\u00e4ttade hon att hon k\u00f6pt hus i Spanien, “var i Spanien?” fr\u00e5gade jag, “vet du var Fuengirola ligger?” sa hon. Jaa! Och vet ni? Hon hade precis k\u00f6pt hus i Mijas Costa! Fick se massa bilder och filmer :) Hon sa att vi kommer f\u00e5 massor att g\u00f6ra om vi har salong d\u00e4r!<\/p>\n

3. Kunden som har bott i Spanien tidigare mailade mig med tips p\u00e5 en fris\u00f6rsalong i Fuengirola som jag kunde kontakta, f\u00f6r hon har s\u00e4kert koll p\u00e5 hur stor efterfr\u00e5gan \u00e4r. I samma veva pratade jag och Annika om att man kanska ska b\u00f6rja med att Annika hyr ett rum bara och kolla l\u00e4get innan vi sm\u00e4ller upp en hel salong, fixar boende till oss och personal m.m. Och vet ni vad fris\u00f6ren svarar? “Jag har ett ledigt rum som jag letar hyresg\u00e4st till!” :)<\/p>\n

Annika and this hairdresser have not had time to talk yet, so it may not be relevant anyway when we know more details. But still fun that the ball is rolling!<\/p>\n

This is how I feel when I stay for<\/em> exalted, if you can be! Then there will be staring, psychic smile and the brain wants me to run in several different directions at the same time haha :)<\/p>\n

A productive week<\/strong>
\nDen h\u00e4r veckan har jag bara haft 7st kunder och inga “avbrott” i arbetsdagen s\u00e5 jag har f\u00e5tt riktigt mycket gjort!<\/p>\n

Among other things, last week was not very productive with blog posts, but this week I have blogged every single day and am also finished with tomorrow's blog post! Nice start to the week :)<\/p>\n

Among other things, I have worked from home in the make-up studio, made a beauty guide post to the webshop with swatch pictures on one of our eyebrow pencils. I have worked with the campaign pictures for May, event planning for our summer event (including goodiebags planning), rowed the schedule for the summer when one of our makeup artists is unfortunately on long-term sick leave :( and looked for a hair stylist who can help us this summer, decided and ordered a fun news for the webshop, fixed with before and after pictures for the salon's social media.<\/p>\n

Allts\u00e5 en hel del olika grejer, men mest roliga saker! Och s\u00e5 har jag st\u00e5tt lite extra mycket i receptionen p\u00e5 salongen ocks\u00e5, men allt s\u00e5nt “vardags-g\u00f6ra” k\u00e4nns inte s\u00e5 roligt att \u00e5terber\u00e4tta t\u00e4nker jag :)<\/p>\n

I have also tested a possible future eyebrow treatment - henna eyebrows! Have any of you tested or heard of it? I ran into it by chance and think it sounds crazy interesting!<\/p>\n

So it's like a tan that also colors the skin! So you get a more make-up result. It stays on the skin for up to 2 weeks, if you have very oily skin, the durability will be much shorter, however.<\/p>\n

I am very happy with the first try! Was a little scared only the first time so I did not let it sit for very long and took a very faint color in the inner edges, so will experiment a little more this weekend, I thought.<\/p>\n

Would you like to do the treatment? :)<\/p>\n

I have some straw + eyebrow tattoo so it is a bit difficult to assess the durability exactly. So I tested on the arm too! It still shows color and then I even took a bath in the bathtub :)<\/p>\n

But there is a process left before we can decide whether to start with this or not. Try all the different colors and shades, test on different people, gain experience about durability, etc. But my hope (and first impression) is that it will work gallantly and that we can start doing the treatment at the salon during the summer!<\/p>\n

But it can just as well be a flop and that we do not start with it at all, or find another brand or whatever. Continuation simply follows.<\/p>\n

Take advantage of the commuting time<\/strong>
\nI live in Gimo which is 50 km from Uppsala = about 2 hours travel time a day depending on whether we travel by car or bus.<\/p>\n

I try to be good at taking advantage of that time, so that you do not waste 2 hours every day! And that does not mean that I should always be as productive as when I work in the office (but sometimes I am) because I get nauseous easily if I sit and look down at my computer for so long. The mobile phone is lighter because you do not have it in your lap in the same way.<\/p>\n

T.ex. brukar jag och Miska ha inspirerande samtal om framtiden – ocks\u00e5 j\u00e4tteviktigt f\u00f6r utvecklingen! Eller s\u00e5 har vi “m\u00f6ten” om saker som beh\u00f6ver fixas direkt eller diskuterar arbetsdagen. Ibland brukar jag g\u00f6ra s\u00e5nt jobb som jag aldrig prioriterar annars s\u00e5 som leta inspiration och kolla trender p\u00e5 instagram s\u00e5 att man t.ex. kan hitta nya behandlingar, t.ex. henna-\u00f6gonbryn ;)<\/p>\n

Det jag vill s\u00e4ga \u00e4r att man m\u00e5ste t\u00e4nka p\u00e5 effektiviteten! Och att vara effektiv beh\u00f6ver inte betyda “jobba superfokuserat” f\u00f6r det \u00e4r \u00e4nd\u00e5 sv\u00e5rt n\u00e4r man sitter p\u00e5 en buss och liknande, utan f\u00f6r mig betyder det att man ska ta vara p\u00e5 tiden och inte bara sl\u00f6sa bort det p\u00e5 att “sitta och ha tr\u00e5kigt”. Tv\u00e5 timmar om dagen blir s\u00e5 extremt mycket tid p\u00e5 ett helt \u00e5r!<\/p>\n

If you knew you were not going to fail, what would you do?<\/strong>
\nN\u00e4r jag sminkade mig h\u00e4r om dagen s\u00e5 lyssnade jag p\u00e5 Framg\u00e5ngspodden och senaste avsnittet med Kjell Enhager. D\u00e5 sa dom meningen “Om du visste att du inte skulle misslyckas, vad skulle du gjort d\u00e5?” och det k\u00e4ndes s\u00e5 extremt tr\u00e4ffande. F\u00f6rutom Spanien-planerna s\u00e5 har vi en del andra id\u00e9er som jag ser mig sj\u00e4lv jobba med i framtiden och det \u00e4r j\u00e4tteviktigt att inte t\u00e4nka “jag kan inte” eller “jag v\u00e5gar inte” och diverse “t\u00e4nk om-tankar”.<\/p>\n

I myself am not at all particularly afraid of actually failing. I would rather fail at something I have enjoyed doing than succeed at something I find boring. But it's a great idea to keep in mind and dare to ask yourself that question!<\/p>\n

Do it to yourselves, if you knew you would not fail, what would you have done then? And then you just do it! :)<\/p>\n

Godmorgon s\u00f6ndag! Solen skiner och jag \u00e4r v\u00e4ldigt n\u00f6jd med veckan som varit :) V\u00e5ra Spanien-planer har f\u00e5tt en pusch!
