There are few weeks that have passed as fast as this, is it already Sunday and a whole week into May? :)<\/p>\n

Visions & sort their plans in writing<\/strong>
\nLast Sunday I had a really cozy and much needed job while setting the tone for the whole coming week in fact!<\/p>\n

Solen sken in p\u00e5 v\u00e5r inglasade altan och Miska m\u00e5lade tavlor och lyssnade p\u00e5 glad, spansk musik. D\u00e4r satt jag med datorn och en kopp kaffe och tog tillf\u00e4llet i akt att skriva av mig.\u00a0Jag skrev ett dokument, en lista n\u00e4rmare best\u00e4mt, med rubriken “Visioner”. Och med det menar jag inte en hel m\u00e5lbild utan mer vad jag har f\u00f6r vision f\u00f6r olika projekt, och d\u00e4refter lite \u00f6verblickande to-do-punkter under det.<\/p>\n

I want to be as productive as possible but it felt a bit like I had a tangled ball of yarn with all our plans and ideas in my head that I just needed to sort into one and the same common thread :)<\/p>\n

And you know what? It was so liberating! Nothing was new in any way but just the feeling of having everything in front of you, it sort of goes from being abstract to something concrete that you can more easily grasp and focus on as well.<\/p>\n

The most important thing when making a vision list like this is that you are in the right fashion in terms of energy, and I really was with this vision next to me! :)<\/p>\n

Quiet week at the salon<\/strong>
\nSince last week was very intense at the salon with fully booked and lots of customers, this week feels incredibly quiet in comparison.<\/p>\n

Olga, who works most of all makeup artists, has a holiday, which is immediately noticeable in the make-up studio. Tuesday was a red day (closed at the salon) and on Wednesday so many were free that I also opened up times for online booking so that customers could book in :)<\/p>\n

As a private person, I can think that it felt nice, so calm and atmospheric. But as an entrepreneur, I want it to always be like last week!<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

On Thursday, Zahra got a cancellation in the morning, so then Miska and I only went to work around 11 o'clock and worked from home on the morning twig. We had the work phone with us so Miska was a receptionist at home on the couch hehe and I worked both at the computer (with Viktoria in her arms, she loved our home morning) and of course in the photo studio with step by step make-up as well. So luxurious!<\/p>\n

Many streams small-stuff<\/strong>
\nN\u00e4r man har lugna veckor s\u00e5 g\u00e4ller det att inte sl\u00f6a ner sig och njuta av lugnet – om man \u00e4r f\u00f6retagare allts\u00e5 ;) Jag har tagit tag i massor av “sm\u00e5dutt” som inte prioriteras n\u00e4r man har viktigare saker att g\u00f6ra.<\/p>\n

There have been phone calls with the Swedish Social Insurance Agency back and forth, new small treatments to be included in booking systems and price lists, people to be emailed, answers to be awaited, schedules to be checked and changed, stuff to be purchased, decisions to be made, customers to to be contacted, product news to be fixed, etc.<\/p>\n

Jag \u00e4r mer f\u00f6r att h\u00e5lla p\u00e5 med stora projekt, s\u00e5 d\u00e4r s\u00e5 att man g\u00e5r och l\u00e4gger sig och ba “WOW vad jag har \u00e5stadkommit mycket idag”. En s\u00e5n k\u00e4nsla har man inte efter en s\u00e5n h\u00e4r vecka direkt, men samtidigt f\u00e5r man ett lite mer inre lugn n\u00e4r man har kunnat bocka av en hel del saker! S\u00e5nt som \u00e4r viktigt att f\u00e5 undan s\u00e5 att man kan fokusera till 100% p\u00e5 sin vision-lista ;)<\/p>\n

Here I sit and work in the evening in the kitchen around half past nine in the evening :)<\/p>\n

Event-fix!<\/strong>
\nI will nag about this summer event only until it's done haha! But there is a lot to be done and I have taken on the role of event fixer so I feel a great responsibility for everything to be good and that everyone is involved and helps.<\/p>\n

This week came our balloons that we have ordered! Wihoo! However, we had problems with the order and out of 1000 balloons, many had defective prints, that only half the logo is visible, type 40% of the balloons. We contacted the company that printed the balloons and do you know what they answer? They deduct the amount on the invoice, but we must send back those that are defective. So now we have to go through 1000 balloons and sort them out! Ain't nobody got time for that.<\/p>\n

Hope our interns want to help us with that next week! :)<\/p>\n

Tip! Reflections in Hanapee's Incredible Podcast<\/b>
\nI det senaste avsnittet “i fas med vinlistan” av Hanapee's Incredible Podcast<\/a> so Hanna reflected on this by resting after work and I just thought it was some nice reflections, for the sake of variety! :)<\/p>\n

Many people that I listen to otherwise are either real career people who give all the tips to succeed, or they are people who went into the wall a long time ago and suffer a lot from mental illness. But here it was a little in between - a lot of work but also focus on resting!<\/p>\n

Hanna ber\u00e4ttar om j\u00e4ttemycket jobb med blogg, podcast, samarbeten m.m, samtidigt \u00e4r hennes fasta jobb redan en 100% tj\u00e4nst, samtidigt vill hon umg\u00e5s med v\u00e4nner, vara en bra flickv\u00e4n m.m.\u00a0Och allt det d\u00e4r g\u00e5r ju att f\u00e5 ihop, MEN hon vill ocks\u00e5 hinna vila. Och med vila menar hon inte “vara ledig och umg\u00e5s med v\u00e4nner” utan faktiskt b\u00e4dda ner sig i s\u00e4ngen och titta p\u00e5 en serie.<\/p>\n

I do not know how many of you readers have this problem, but I, like Hanna, have a job where you never finish the day. You can always do more, refine things, think about whether you should have done something better.<\/p>\n

It was not much deeper than that, but I have written in previous business week posts that I can feel like a bad entrepreneur who does not work so that I get burned out, which is very skewed haha. I want to be a diligent entrepreneur who works 300% and who works instead of sleeping, but I am smart enough to know that this is not how I want to live actually<\/i>\u00a0and therefore stop before it becomes so :)<\/p>\n

But it really is a balance and if anyone recognizes themselves in my thoughts I can recommend that episode and listen to Hanna!<\/p>\n

Another way for me to relax, instead of movies and series, is to check out cute animals that have their own Instagram accounts haha! @Yves_the_cat<\/a> is my new favorite, so heavenly cute! :) I just get happy with accounts like this! (Update: Instagram account seems deleted now! Must have happened right after I made the link, so scary!)<\/p>\n

The hairology folder<\/strong>
\nIn Quip, which is our communication system in the company, I have now compiled a folder with lots of hairology info! There are some new tips that I learned in the latest course that everyone should take part in, but also a lot of things that can be good to be able to look up when needed, e.g. exact mixtures for different scalp problems, etc.<\/p>\n

Jag beh\u00f6ver inte g\u00e5 in s\u00e5 mycket p\u00e5 detalj men det \u00e4r v\u00e4ldigt mycket info i flera olika dokument och kategorier som jag samlat i nya “H\u00e5rologi-mappen”, som ett litet skolarbete n\u00e4stan haha!<\/p>\n

Update with henna eyebrows<\/strong>
\nI wrote before that we ev. will start with henna eyebrows as a treatment at the salon! But as with everything we do, we put the stuff to the test properly first and now we are in step two of the testing. I have tested a lot at home and now I have taken the stuff to the salon so that the makeup artists can test and come up with a response as well.<\/p>\n

This week I did not have much more to tell. It has been the end of the month so I have also sat lots with salaries, invoices, budget, statistics and the usual chores with it.<\/p>\n

And so I checked off sick a lot from my to do list and ba breathed out before I went home from the salon last Friday and had just checked off the last thing on the to-do list, so nice!<\/p>\n

But not all weeks can be just as rich in content either :)<\/p>\n
