Veckans “business-inl\u00e4gg” kommer redan nu p\u00e5 l\u00f6rdagen ist\u00e4llet f\u00f6r s\u00f6ndag som det brukar. Jag har inte haft tid att g\u00f6ra s\u00e5 mycket bloggmaterial i veckan och kommer ta det lite lugnt i helgen, s\u00e5 jag t\u00e4nkte att jag kan publicera det nu direkt n\u00e4r jag \u00e4r klar :)<\/p>\n

This week has been both up and down I must say.<\/p>\n

I can very rarely take power naps because I do not fall asleep so easily, but the first thing I did when I got home last Friday was to lie down on the couch and then I woke up 2 hours later. It sums up my week pretty well haha.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

You have to take a few setbacks sometimes<\/strong>
\nNu kommer lite tr\u00e5kiga punkter men sen blir resten av inl\u00e4gget roligt igen! :) Jag brukar s\u00e4llan skriva negativt i dessa jobb-inl\u00e4gg f\u00f6r problem som dyker upp \u00e4r ofta v\u00e4ldigt konkreta och s\u00e5nt man “bara m\u00e5ste l\u00f6sa” och d\u00e5 \u00e4r det inte s\u00e5 jobbigt, men jag vill ocks\u00e5 vara \u00e4rlig i dessa inl\u00e4gg \u00e4ven n\u00e4r inte allting k\u00e4nns som en dans p\u00e5 rosor. Den h\u00e4r veckan har varig ovanligt tuff f\u00f6r mig faktiskt p\u00e5 flera plan:<\/p>\n

Fever -\u00a0<\/strong>Den f\u00f6rsta anledningen \u00e4r att jag haft feber hela veckan och blandat b\u00e5de Ipren och Alvedon (blandat med kaffe och Celsius haha) f\u00f6r att orka g\u00f6ra saker. Jag har vaknat runt 4 p\u00e5 morgonen och tagit huvudv\u00e4rkstabletterna f\u00f6r att dom ska hinna verka innan jag ska kliva upp. Febern har ocks\u00e5 gjort mig extra k\u00e4nslig och jag har haft mycket k\u00e4nslor av hoppl\u00f6shet hela veckan. Jag har tvivlat p\u00e5 mig sj\u00e4lv och mina stora dr\u00f6mmar och det \u00e4r inte alls vanligt f\u00f6r mig. “Allt \u00e4r v\u00e4rdel\u00f6st och anledningen till att det k\u00e4nns s\u00e5 \u00e4r f\u00f6r att jag f\u00f6r en g\u00e5ngs skull \u00e4r realistisk” ungef\u00e4r s\u00e5 har det l\u00e5tit i mitt huvud n\u00e4r tankarna flugit iv\u00e4g. Inte alls likt mig! Jag som brukar vara stens\u00e4ker p\u00e5 att allt jag best\u00e4mmer mig f\u00f6r kommer bli succ\u00e9! Men inte nu.<\/p>\n

Unexpected stress -\u00a0<\/strong>I have really struggled before our summer event that we had last Thursday and had such good planning that I started with several months before to catch up with everything without stress. I have been unusually good at asking for help and delegating tasks on time as well. But we have been so fully booked (which of course is great!) And it is difficult to delegate tasks to people who do not have time either. So suddenly I had unexpectedly a lot to do and more customers than planned, so every day when I got home I felt that I was miles behind in the planning and on Wednesday I could not even sleep all night.<\/p>\n

Planning the number of guests -<\/strong>\u00a0I will write more about our wonderful summer event further down, wow what a job we have done and all the guests were so happy! But I was actually a little low afterwards because only half of everyone who had sniffed came. Above all, I felt that it was my fault, not because I had done anything wrong but because I had been the most driving and for the event and that all responsibility was on me. So whatever went wrong had been my fault - in my opinion. You always expect a dropout but not as much as 50% right? We had a limited number of seats and could have pushed so much more for the event, but when we got the maximum number that fits and a little more, we could not push it out more, I thought. You must also be able to handle it IF almost everyone comes.<\/p>\n

The event was really successful anyway but I would have liked so many more to have enjoyed it now that we put in so much work and everything else was so good :)<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

The most important thing when you are stressed do you know what it is? Support! That's my friend Frida told me this week :) Here my cat Viktoria supports me when I was so exhausted after the work day haha.<\/p>\n

But you learn the most when things do not go as they should! Now I have got this out of me and the rest of the post will highlight all the positive things that have been this week !! :)<\/p>\n

Sometimes you're lucky!<\/strong>
\nF\u00f6rra vecka ber\u00e4ttade jag att min dator \u00e4r p\u00e5 lagning. Den har haft problem med sk\u00e4rmen och bara att l\u00e4mna in den p\u00e5 fels\u00f6kning kostar 600:-. Det \u00e4r nog grafikkortet som strular sa personalen. N\u00e4r jag fr\u00e5gade vad det kommer kosta att fixa s\u00e5 fick jag svaret “jaa det kostar ju en slant!”.<\/p>\n

Now I finally got to pick up my baby again and
\n1. they did not find the error and then you apparently do not have to pay that troubleshooting fee.
\n2. but it was apparently something else wrong with some reflex protection (?) On the screen (I did not even know about this, I thought the screen was dirty and have tried to wash it off) and if the computer is less than 4 years old then you get a new screen completely free. So not only the glass but I got the whole screen replaced.
\n3. After I took it out, the screen has worked flawlessly, so the problem solved itself only they changed the screen.<\/p>\n

So fixing my computer did not cost me a single penny, and I had not even bought it at the place I handed it in. They were so nice and good too! This week's rose goes to Digital Inn in Uppsala :) So now they get free marketing as payment instead;)<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

I sat out in the sun this morning and did a little work before breakfast, it had absolutely not worked with my old screen! Then I would not have seen a smack!<\/p>\n

Spanish and happy music at the salon!<\/strong>
\nDo not forget to really enjoy the nice sun we have been pampered with now :) Everything that does not have to be done indoors I take care to do out in the sun.<\/p>\n

I s\u00f6ndags gjorde jag en ny spellista till salongen ute i solen, dels till eventet men vi t\u00e4nkte \u00e4ven ha den rullande hela sommaren. Jag lyssnar j\u00e4ttemycket p\u00e5 spansk musik, ingen speciell artist utan random l\u00e5tar som g\u00f6r mig glad! “Andas en mi cabeza” \u00e4r min favorit, jag h\u00f6rde den i Mexico och hittade den sedan med hj\u00e4lp av en musik-app. Tips! :)<\/p>\n

Visst kan man v\u00e4l s\u00f6ka p\u00e5 andras spellistor p\u00e5 Spotify? “Spanskt & glatt \u00e1 la Helena” heter min b\u00e4sta spanska spellista i s\u00e5dana fall om ni vill ha 1,5 timme spansk musik till morgonkaffet!<\/p>\n

Anyway, that was not what I was going to talk about - but the funny thing is that the music is really appreciated by both customers and colleagues at work, so fun! Music and atmosphere do so much more than you think :)<\/p>\n

Event preparations<\/strong>
\nDet h\u00e4r har varit det mest v\u00e4larbetade eventet vi h\u00e5llit i! Vi gick verkligen all in med konstgr\u00e4s, palmer och h\u00e4ngv\u00e4xter, ballonger med v\u00e5r logga och texten “sk\u00f6nhet \u00e4r friskv\u00e5rd” p\u00e5, fotov\u00e4gg med ballonger och blommor, samarbetspartners som kom dit, sponsorer till goodiebags och vinster (bland annat t\u00e4vlade vi ut en lyxkryssning med Birca Cruises!) och i princip hela sminkstudion t\u00f6mde vi p\u00e5 alla m\u00f6bler f\u00f6r att g\u00f6ra plats f\u00f6r alla g\u00e4ster.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Our nice balloons! I have literally sores on my fingers after all the balloon-tying haha! We inflated a lot of regular ones but also bought helium which we filled many with and had here and there throughout the room :)<\/p>\n

We are not angry in the picture just sickly concentrated when we count bags haha! Frida was so cute and helped me with all the goodiebags, they were really generous and well stocked! It was a bit mixed content but everyone had a mascara from Wet n Wild, tweezers and eyebrow knife and then a bit mixed with nice lipsticks, eye shadows, blush, body lotion, face mask and we also put in a piece of chocolate in each :)<\/p>\n

This is where Miska and I work and fix after closing. We now have artificial grass in the entire waiting room, in this staircase where we then held the presentations, at the photo wall and in our entrance! It really became the icing on the cake for the whole summer feeling!<\/p>\n

our waiting room! Fint va? :) We had Art Clinic and a girl who exhibited swimwear and bridal-inspired lingerie in honor of the day as well as you see on the pages. But after the event, the waiting room is just a cozy summer oasis.<\/p>\n

I made several summery product signs that are scattered here and there in the store, a lot of flowers, stones and shells :) Do you know what happened then? In the middle of it all, when I was putting in the products, a spider crawled up among the rocks! How sick ?! I he so phobia so\u2026 The bag with the stones was completely unopened so I do not understand how it ended up there, do you understand the shock ??<\/p>\n

Vi fokuserade p\u00e5 att g\u00f6ra lokalen s\u00e5 foto-v\u00e4nlig som m\u00f6jligt s\u00e5 att folk skulle vilja l\u00e4gga ut fina bilder fr\u00e5n eventet :) Bland annat gjorde vi en maffig fotov\u00e4gg, och eftersom alla g\u00e4ster \u00e4r privatpersoner (jag \u00e4r ju annars van vid influencers p\u00e5 event som \u00e4r vana vid att fota sig sj\u00e4lva) s\u00e5 t\u00e4nkte jag att alla kanske inte \u00e4r j\u00e4ttebekv\u00e4ma med att ta vanliga “snyggbilder” s\u00e5 vi gjorde lite rolig foto-rekvisita som man kunde anv\u00e4nda sig av f\u00f6r att spexa lite ist\u00e4llet :)<\/p>\n

In the picture above you see Miska with lips and eyebrows as Olga has done! So much fun! :) We had also presented large flowers and palm leaves that you can joke about.<\/p>\n

And our entrance had Annika decorated so nicely \u2665<\/p>\n

We also had small hashtag signs around the photo wall so that everyone who published photos could have the same hashtag :) In the background you can see the stairs where we held the presentation later!<\/p>\n

Time for a summer event!<\/strong>
\nWhen the last customer had left, we had 30 minutes to fix the last thing together and it was in the second that we were finished before the first guests started to drop in!<\/p>\n

Best Miska was responsible for drinks and snacks \u2665<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

We served chips, sweets, popcorn and salty sticks!<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Simple and very appreciated :)<\/p>\n

Luckily we have ICA right next to the salon, Miska could run and buy ice cream just before the event started because we have no freezer at work :)<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Keep Training who have personal training in Uppsala (both Annika and Miska train there) were on site and also mingled :) We usually get to be part of their event too!<\/p>\n

Here, guests have started dripping in and mingling around the store before we started the presentation.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

I held a make-up demo on the presentation stairs :)<\/p>\n

As a makeup artist, what do you think I think is the most important thing in makeup? It is absolute not<\/strong> regler som att “blanda inte r\u00f6tt och rosa” och s\u00e5nt dumt som jag inte f\u00f6ljer alls sj\u00e4lv. Nej det viktigaste \u00e4r att det ska vara kul! Och det pratade jag om i min presentation. Det vanligaste svaret jag f\u00e5r n\u00e4r jag fr\u00e5gar personer om dom tycker att det \u00e4r roligt med smink, det \u00e4r “jaa egentligen tycker jag att det \u00e4r j\u00e4ttekul, men jag \u00e4r s\u00e5 d\u00e5lig p\u00e5 det att jag g\u00f6r n\u00e4stan aldrig mer \u00e4n foundation, bryn och mascara”.<\/p>\n

It's so boring I think! 1. Make-up should be fun, many become insecure and afraid to make mistakes but there are no right or wrong! 2. Makeup need<\/em> nor be so heavenly difficult! I referred to my and my make-up model's make-up (I had started to make-up her before the event) where I only had yellow in the corner of my eye and coral-colored lipstick, and she only had a gold shadow on her eyelid and turquoise in the corner of her eye. Easy and fast!<\/p>\n

Then I also showed a quick summer bass with glo Tinted Primer Spf 30<\/a> on only half the face so that everyone could see the difference, and it became very poppis! :)<\/p>\n

Och b\u00e4sta Annika h\u00f6ll en presentation om att sk\u00f6nhet \u00e4r friskv\u00e5rd. Vi har verkligen l\u00e4rt oss i denna bransch att det handlar s\u00e5 otroligt lite om f\u00e5f\u00e4nga, utan mer om att ta hand om sig sj\u00e4lv och trivas i sitt eget skinn. Extra tydligt blir det n\u00e4r man hj\u00e4lper m\u00e4nniskor som g\u00e5r igenom jobbiga stunder i livet t.ex. cellgiftsbehandlingar, hon sa “jag kan inte bota cancer, men jag kan i alla fall g\u00f6ra det lite trevligare att se sig sj\u00e4lv i spegeln”.<\/p>\n

Or as the simple reference to face painting children - that smile when they see themselves in the mirror is completely priceless! When they get to see all the glitter and color and take a shot of joy from there later :)<\/p>\n

We ended the evening by presenting the winners at our great prizes! There were 9 wins in total, everything from product kits, make-up brushes, gift cards worth SEK 1,000 at Art Clinic, panties and lingerie accessories and last but not least a luxury cruise with Birca Cruises! Woop, woop! :) In the picture above you see when I handed out one of the prizes to a lucky winner.<\/p>\n

Everything went so well and above all I loved that there were so many who had a lot of makeup questions! I can talk makeup with people for exactly any length of time, I never get tired!<\/p>\n

So happy with the evening and want to send out a big thank you to everyone who came \u2665<\/p>\n

Friday & new month<\/strong>
\nWhen Friday came, the day after the event, it was suddenly a new month - salaries must be received, reports must be printed, invoices must be sent, campaign images must be replaced! In addition, I had postponed things that were not prio before the event and suddenly what my to do list a mile long again. So it was just to roll up my sleeves again :)<\/p>\n

And I also had a fun make-up consultation, you can see before and after pictures of her next week!<\/p>\n

June will be a successful month!<\/strong>
\nIt is with great anticipation that I look forward to June! Two of our makeup artists go up during working hours - it's high pressure and the bookings roll in! :)<\/p>\n

The company's financial year ends last June, so now we are running the final sprint for a good result! Then we can finally tick off all points on our target image, compile all metrics and then set new goals.<\/p>\n

And then Annika and I are going to Milan for a permanent makeup fair as well, just one such thing!<\/p>\n

So now I leave this stressful fever week behind me and welcome a new month with open arms! \u2665 Next week a lot of stuff happens too so now I'll just be raw about myself the rest of the weekend :)<\/p>\n
