When you have run a company together for 3 years, it's time for the next step, move together and have children haha!<\/p>\n

I always write about my work week on Sundays, but this week will be different because we have hardly worked at all - because on Tuesday at 10.02 Annika had a little daughter \u2665<\/p>\n

So since I only worked small this week, I thought I would write about childbirth instead? The work done is minimally interesting. I myself love birth stories and many customers have heard from me and asked how everything has gone!<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Insemination in Denmark<\/strong>
\nAnnika is single and has inseminated herself in Denmark. So me and Miska who now live in a cottage on her plot were present throughout the birth and the bb period! It is legal for single people to inseminate themselves in Sweden even now, but it still does not look exactly the same so Annika still chose Denmark over Sweden.<\/p>\n

Maternity drink<\/strong>
\nAnnika har haft en toppenbra graviditet och har m\u00e5tt bra och tr\u00e4nat hela tiden. Fyra dagar efter ber\u00e4knat datum s\u00e5 simmade hon i simhallen och k\u00e4nde sig s\u00e5 ot\u00e5lig att hon p\u00e5 v\u00e4gen hem k\u00f6pte ingredienser till den omtalade “f\u00f6rlossningsdrycken” som m\u00e5nga anv\u00e4nder f\u00f6r att f\u00f6rlossningen ska starta. Och den fungerade!<\/p>\n

F\u00f6r f\u00f6rstf\u00f6derskor \u00e4r det vanligt att det tar j\u00e4ttel\u00e5ng tid fr\u00e5n att man b\u00f6rjar f\u00e5 “mensv\u00e4rk-k\u00e4nslor” till att bebisen \u00e4r ute. S\u00e5 hon drack drycken kl 20 p\u00e5 kv\u00e4llen och t\u00e4nkte att om det fungerar s\u00e5 kan hon sova i b\u00f6rjan och sen \u00e4r hon pigg och utvilad n\u00e4r v\u00e4rkarna s\u00e4tter ig\u00e5ng ordentligt p\u00e5 f\u00f6rmiddagen efter.<\/p>\n

That did not happen right;)<\/p>\n

Hot tub and tanner<\/strong>
\nVi tittade p\u00e5 film och 2 timmar senare sa hon “jag b\u00f6rjar k\u00e4nna lite mensv\u00e4rk nu faktiskt!” och vi gick och la oss. Miska somnade till en stund men b\u00e5de jag och Annika blev f\u00f6r ivriga. Jag hann bara sova 50 minuter och Annika ingenting n\u00e4r vi sedan kl. 3 p\u00e5 natten satt tillsammans alla tre ute i badtunnan och v\u00e4rkarna var ig\u00e5ng riktigt ordentligt!<\/p>\n

N\u00e4r v\u00e4rkarna eskalerade ytterligare s\u00e5 gick vi in och anv\u00e4nde en tens-apparat (som hon s\u00e4ger \u00e4r GULD v\u00e4rd!). Jag och Miska hade l\u00e4rt oss massage-tekniker och s\u00e5nt p\u00e5 f\u00f6rlossningskursen “F\u00f6da utan r\u00e4dsla” och h\u00f6ll oss sysselsatta. Man h\u00f6r ofta pappor s\u00e4ga att det \u00e4r jobbigt f\u00f6r att man bara st\u00e5r bredvid och k\u00e4nner sig hj\u00e4lpl\u00f6s, men jag och Miska var s\u00e5 involverad i v\u00e4rkarna och Annika sa sj\u00e4lv att det vi gjorde hj\u00e4lpte j\u00e4ttemycket, s\u00e5 jag k\u00e4nde aldrig den k\u00e4nslan vilket var sk\u00f6nt.<\/p>\n

Chest pain AT HOME and several miles to the hospital<\/strong>
\nAt 6 o'clock Annika started to feel the classic ring of fire burning and said that it really pushes down now. It was no longer ordinary pain but aches and pains! She took the pain so well and we were prepared for us to be home for a long time, so it was lucky that she felt so clearly that it was on its way out because otherwise we would have stayed home for several more hours.<\/p>\n

It felt completely surreal when I packed towels and rubbing alcohol in case there would be a car birth hahaha! The drive to the hospital is about 30 min.<\/p>\n

The trip in went well anyway, she has practiced relaxing in the car every time we went to work, with hypnobirth meditation in headphones that she now put on as well. So she was calm and we did not have to use the towels;)<\/p>\n

Natural childbirth without anesthesia<\/strong>
\nWhen we arrived, Annika was examined and was completely open (!) And rolled into the delivery room immediately. But even though she was completely open, the baby was not far enough down, so she was not allowed to shiver herself even though she had throbbing pains.<\/p>\n

She tested different standing positions and we continued with our massage techniques.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Annika wanted as natural a birth as possible, no anesthesia (except tens), no nitrous oxide and no pain-stimulating drip or anything like that. Everything went as planned, except that we had to fuss a bit to avoid pain-stimulating drip when the head was on its way out, everything went so well and they always saw that the baby was well and then Annika did not want any excitement. The baby was almost out then. We had talked about this before so it was easy for me and Miska to take the talk so that Annika could focus entirely on her.<\/p>\n

At 10.02, three hours after we entered the birth, the little miracle was born \u2665 She had amniotic fluid in her lungs and did not scream so they roughed her a lot (brutally a lot in our untrained eyes haha) and then she lay and growled on Annika's stomach \u2665<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

This picture was taken at 10.13 after I (!) Cut the umbilical cord and the baby could lie higher up :) Not because it is important to look good right then but you really see how awesome it is with permanent makeup!<\/p>\n

Summary<\/strong>
\nWith the results in hand, everything went in principle as Annika had wished!<\/p>\n

Vi var inte alls beredda p\u00e5 att det skulle g\u00e5 s\u00e5 fort, men inte heller beredda p\u00e5 att det skulle vara s\u00e5 lugnt och odramatiskt n\u00e4r det v\u00e4l var ig\u00e5ng p\u00e5 riktigt. Trots att vi lyssnat massor p\u00e5 f\u00f6rlossningspoddar m.m. s\u00e5 har man ju \u00e4nd\u00e5 “film-bilden” i huvudet av en mamma som skriker hysteriskt och s\u00e5 har man ju h\u00f6rt m\u00e5nga f\u00f6rlossningsber\u00e4ttelser som inneh\u00e5llit komplikationer p\u00e5 olika s\u00e4tt.<\/p>\n

Annika was obviously in pain during the pain, but says that she never thought about asking for anesthesia. But she can really recommend tens device to everyone! She bought a worse device at home and never used the one they have at birth.<\/p>\n

The only problem was that the midwife was a bit harsh and that Annika sometimes became unsure if she was doing the right thing because she received unclear instructions. But we were never alone in the room, had a super cute midwifery student and assistant nurse who pepped on and Annika gave 9 out of 10 in grades afterwards!<\/p>\n

Two nights at bb<\/strong>
\nDue to the fact that breastfeeding was tough (which was probably due to the water in the lungs) and that the baby had low oxygenation in the blood and suspected wheezing in the heart, we stayed on bb until Thursday afternoon because they took samples regularly and so we had to see a doctor from time to time . But then all the samples had normalized and we had to go home!<\/p>\n

I was also positively surprised at how taken care of we were on bb, they really put time on us and were incredibly careful and took the safe before the unsafe with exactly all the samples.<\/p>\n

Can you be this cute? Here she is in my arms the first time we tested clothes! Just before we went home :)<\/p>\n

She still does not have a definite name but we have written a list of suggestions and have some favorites.<\/p>\n

Annika has printed our logo on baby clothes, so cute !!! Even on some cloth diapers haha!<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Nestled in the car seat with the finest baby hat \u2665<\/p>\n

We did not sleep at all during the birth night and then we only had two beds + that the staff came in and took samples every two hours even during the nights, so now that we have been home Friday-Sunday we have had a lot of sleep to catch up.<\/p>\n

The first pram walk in Annika's nice, white pram!<\/p>\n

As you know, I often use make-up and make-up brushes for other uses, painting, nailing, etc. This make-up brush from P\u00fcr Cosmetics works gallantly as a baby hair brush;)<\/p>\n

Looking for a new makeup artist<\/strong>
\nIt was not long since I wrote that we are looking for a makeup artist for a Saturday job, in connection with that we found an interesting person who would be Lisa's replacement because in May it's her turn to become a mother!<\/p>\n

But then there was nothing with that makeup artist, so this week we have posted a new ad that applies to at least 75% throughout the summer with a great opportunity for extension throughout Lisa's parental leave.<\/p>\n

What a corner week, a real adventure week! Now Miska and Annika and I will watch a movie with a baby in our arms and tomorrow Miska and I will return to routines again \u2665<\/p>\n
