To get a soot really, really black, you can base with a black eyeliner on the entire eyelid!<\/p>\n

However, with most pencils, you should apply a black eyeshadow as well. This is because the make-up should last all day without sagging, but also because it gets a little nicer sooted at the edges with a shadow!<\/p>\n
