I have actually never tested eyelash extensions myself, so you can strangle me after this post if you want;)
We get a lot of inquiries if we do eyelash extensions at the salon, but the answer is no and even though we get a lot of requests, the answer will be no. If no difference in quality etc. is made, everything develops all the time!
Anledningen är att vi ser så många kunder som har gjort detta, och därför har vi sakta men säkert blivit lite emot det här med ögonfransförlängning haha. Jag vet att många älskar det och är “beroende” av det, och att det även handlar om vem man går till, det finns dom som gör det bra och dom som gör det mindre bra. Men här kommer anledningarna till varför jag inte vill testa detta:
- Expensive - It costs approximately between 500-1500 kronor (depending on where you go and if you do it once or refill) and it only lasts for about 3 weeks. And when some straws have disappeared, it often does not look good either. I understand that it is expensive, in my opinion it is even cheap if you look at all the work the person puts in, it takes about two hours to do the extension and you have to be so noga. But as a customer, you get quite a bit for your money.
- Sensitive - The lashes are glued directly to your natural lashes, and are very sensitive and often harder than your natural lashes. That's why you have to be so extremely careful with your lashes, because when a fake straw smokes, so does your natural lash. It says everywhere that eyelash extensions do not wear on the lashes, but I hear so Many people say that the extension has ruined their natural lashes.
- Unhygienic - Och eftersom man måste vara så försiktig, inte använda rengöring med olja, och knappt röra dom, så ser jag ofta personer med förlängning som inte har gjort rent ordentligt, som har små “sömngrus-klumpar” längs fransarnas hårbotten. Usch och fy och hej ögoninflammation :)
And of course I do not say that everyone experiences these negative effects, it obviously depends on who does the job, and how to take care of the lashes and the cleaning. But you get a little discouraged when you see and hear many who have these problems.
What can you do instead?
Instead, I think that color and permanent (permanent bending that makes the lashes are bent upwards all the time) is much better! You can see my result in the pictures above. When the lashes are curved, they look much longer even without mascara, and you often get a better result with the mascara even when they already have a nice bend.
Most people who do this treatment regularly do permanent and staining every 10 weeks, and only staining every 5 weeks.
If you also want them longer, you can either use the fiber mascara Magnetic Lash which builds up the length of the straws, or use BeautyLash - an eyelash serum that makes the eyelashes grow!
Jag har använt BeautyLash i 2 veckor nu och börjar redan märka lite skillnad, men om 4-6 veckor till så ska ni få se före- och efterbilder :) Men de finns redan nu att köpa då jag har träffat såå många kunder som är stammisar på näringen och får makalöst fina resultat. Annika har nämligen sålt den på salongen tidigare, och själv använt den i flera år, och hon använder inget annat än fransnäring, fransfärgning och ögonfranspermanent, och när man säger till folk att hon är osminkad så svarar dom alltid “fast mascara har hon väl?” men det har hon aldrig! Ska fota bild och visa er någon dag :)

I have done single lashes with luxury lashes recently and I feel very happy. Feels really nice in the lashes (looks natural) and not to mention how much time I save in the morning ;-) But became worried after reading what you wrote about that you met so many who say that they wear a lot and takes a long time to recover: - /… otherwise I have to try BeautyLash. Exciting to see before and after pictures of your lashes when you have been running this for a while. :-)

Jag tycker att det är en enorm skillnad på klassiska fransar och volymfransar. Jag har haft båda och gillar inte alls de klassiska då de ser ut som “spindelben” och är väldigt tjocka och hårda. Volymfransar ger mjukare och tätare look plus att varje frans är tunn och lätt, känner inget obehag av dem alls. Ja, det är väldigt dyrt men det är nog det enda negativa som jag kan säga om volymisar :)
I was a bit tempted to try as I know several who have been very happy but I backed down for two reasons:
1) people who had to wait a long time for their own lashes to recover after they thought they were done with it
2) att ha lim så nära ögonen. Jag är personligen jättekänslig och brukar få rodnad och blåsor bara av både vanliga och “sensitive”plåster, känns lite riskfyllt om man är en sån person (nu är ju inte alla det, naturligtvis).
It absolutely depends entirely on where you make them. After testing many different practitioners, I have found one that is super. It's nice for 3-4 weeks at least and they fit much better than those where I've done it before (and then they are still ones that are known to be good). She I do the ones with now are faster and cheaper than the others, I go there for an hour every 3-4 weeks and am super happy. Always have nice lashes and make-up takes 5 minutes in the morning. I think her trick is better glue and thinner and more lashes - then you avoid the ugly gaps you can get otherwise when they start to come loose. Have many but thin lashes and they have not been sparse or negatively affected yet anyway and then I have done it for almost a year. Hug!
