Beauty blogs at Zara Larsson!

3

For more than a year I have been blogging in two places, my makeup blog Imakeyousmile has been around for a long time but in February last year I started blogging on Modernmom.se as you know.

And now, listen and be amazed, a third platform is coming! :)

zara larsson ny blogg

Zara Larsson has just opened her new blog Zaralarsson.se where I will keep up with the beauty updates in the beauty / fashion tab.

I will update about 1-2 times a week, it is planned, a lot of make-up tips and reviews as usual, but I will also offer a lot of celebrity make-up! :)

A little weird really, how many have more than one blog? And I have three! But I think it's super fun not to sit with the same side all the time and stare blindly at details, I can be seen in more places and reach out to more people - and I love it!

So now you get another blog to follow if you do not already follow Zara, so that you do not miss any good posts from little me;)

Highlight green eyes - in a different way

5

Usually you show different purple and purple make-up when talking about highlighting green eyes. Then green and red / pink / purple are complementary colors.

But with just green, which has such a suitable complementary color, you not only need to use eye shadows - but pink and red are brilliant colors to wear on the lips!

So in today's make - up I have matched the eye color with the eye make - up, green and green. And what in turn highlights the eyes are the pink lipstick!

Hope you like :)

Competition with Yves Rocher!

123

Surely no one here has missed that I like the beauty brand Yves Rocher? They have basically everything - makeup, nail polish, accessories, skin and hair care, etc. The products are both good quality, natural and cheap!

Now I have the opportunity to, in collaboration with Yves Rocher, raffle off a gift card to your readers, and it is not worth less than the whole thousand crowns!

All you have to do is go inside YvesRocher.se, and find the product you would most like to buy if you won the gift card!

Copy the link on the product and paste it in a comment in this post, do not forget the name and email address so we can contact you who wins.

yves-rocher competition

The competition runs through Friday, and this weekend I will choose the winner!

Good luck! :)

My photo routine

Now it feels so nice every time I get compliments for the pictures themselves, because you will never be 100% happy yourself. I think the full pictures are pretty nice, except that shading, highlighter and blush are barely visible, but the close-ups when I do step by step I would like to improve. Do not know how though, new camera?

take portraits

My camera is a system camera (Canon EOS 550D) and I use the standard lens that came with the camera when I take close-ups of the eyes, and 50mm lenses from Canon when I take full shots. The full pictures are taken with the remote shutter release and a small tripod.

The settings on my full images are OFF, ISO 800, Aperture 5.6 and Exposure 2, and I stand in daylight opposite a large window. You photo-savvy people may think my settings are quirky (I do not know) but I have come to them after taking test photos, test photos and test photos, and that's how I think it will be best :)

Sedan ändrar jag ibland också vitbalansen, är det “vanligt ljus” ute så kör jag på auto, men när det är riktigt grått ute så ställer jag in kelvintalet på 6000.

photo-portrait
Photographed a mobile picture so that you can see my professional photo studio;) Although I photograph with the blinds pulled up of course!

I have walked Emelie Ohlssons web course in photography, which is aimed at beginners. So I'm definitely not good at taking pictures but I understand enough about the camera to be able to test myself and it's super nice, so happy with the course! Emelie explains that even I understand, who is both non-technical and thinks the basics of photography are boring. As soon as someone mentions ISO, I automatically stop listening haha.

Helt ologiskt.

I'm also hungry for a new web course she's filming now, which focuses on portraits! Maybe it will also take late when it is ready :) Would be fun!

If you have more questions about this, just shout, we'll see if I can answer;)

Tropical makeup

3

Now winter is back again, and I thought I would liven up the atmosphere with a little color!

Green and yellow are so nice together, so tropical and wonderful in some way :) Today's make-up is therefore a look in just the colors, which is also quite easy to do - yellow eye shadow on the inside, green on the outside and blur blur for a diffuse feeling !

Hope you like :)
