Mix lipstick

1

Jag gjorde ett inlägg om att blanda blåa läppstift med andra “vanliga” nyanser för att få en kallare ton, och nu tänkte jag visa en snabb bild på hur man kan förändra läppstift genom att blanda dom till den nyans man vill ha.

The small dots in the picture are what colors I have mixed, and the big ones next to them are the result.

If you only have a red and a purple lipstick for example, but are not hungry for any of them, it is great to mix and you get a nice burgundy color instead!

All shades come from the lipstick palette from iMys.se, but it is of course possible to mix regular lipsticks as well.

Hug!

Spring colors

5

Oh what wonderful weather it is out today again! The feelings of spring are really tingling in my stomach now, even though it is February and still quite cold.

Had the sun warmed up a little more, I would have gone home to my mother and had a cup of coffee on the stairs out to the garden, where it never blows and as long as the sun warms it will be really hot there. Longing!

But I have a lot of plans that I will row ashore before the summer, so partly I enjoy that it is still only February, time goes too fast anyway :)

Anyway, here comes a colorful look that fits perfectly on a sunny day like this!

Now I will throw my hair up in a knot, enjoy the sun at the bus stop and take my unmade-up face to Uppsala. After I fixed my nails, Annika Söderlund at the salon will make me up, she needs a blonde model to practice on before the competition in Düsseldorf in March!

Annika won the Swedish Championships in Makeup last autumn, and will now represent Sweden in the international competition in Düsseldorf, so much fun! It will be dark when I get home, but I will try to get good pictures and I will post the results tomorrow :)

Have a wonderful day everyone!

How not to wash the makeup brushes

2

Sometimes you do such crazy things, that in retrospect you do not even understand how you could come up with the idea. How could I not understand that this would not work… :)

I find it very boring to wash the make-up brushes, and since I have so many, I usually just take a new clean brush instead of washing the one I have used.

This results in me then standing there with a whole pile of makeup brushes to be washed at once, but I prefer to do so because then you can turn on some music and drink a cold Red Bull at the same time and make a cozy thing out of it.

Apart from the fact that make-up brushes do not really withstand being in hot water for long, you can probably guess what I have struggled with in recent days. The glue was dissolved in the water so that the shaft comes off very easily, and I get to glue make-up brushes all day, it feels like.

* Stupid, stupid stupid *

When I still talk about it, I can say some quick tips about just makeup brush washing:

* Synthetic brushes can be washed with ordinary detergent
* Brushes with real hair are washed with shampoo and conditioner, and sometimes it is good to even do a wrap.
* There is also a special make-up brush cleaner you can buy, if you can afford to spend money on such a detail. The important thing is that they are clean, I think.
* Man kan dessutom köpa speciell “sprit” för sminkborstarna, så att man kan få bort alla bakterier mellan tvättarna. Det är bra! Speciellt om man har slarvat med tvätten ;)
* Wash your make-up brushes often, those used for powder products can be washed once a week, but brushes for creamy products should be washed immediately after use.
* Let the brushes dry horizontally. If you put them with the straws down, the straws are destroyed, and if you put them with the straws up, water can flow down where the straws are stuck and dissolve the glue.
* Do not rub too hard when washing, especially on brushes with real hair! The top of the straws is easily destroyed, and then the brush feels rough.

Finally, be careful when washing your makeup brushes, do it often and do not make the same mistakes as me! :)

White nails

1

Tomorrow it's time for new nails Nails Uppsala again, wonderful!

I think of white, maybe two fingers on each hand that are classic French and the rest white with some fun detail. Maybe dots, dots are nice!

Feeling for something simple and stylish, now after my rose purple with lots of rhinestones :)

They should be square in any case, I like that shape!

Translation

I have been thinking for a long time about whether I should also start writing in English here in the blog, so that you can read in both Swedish and English. However, it is quite time consuming, so it has never happened.

But now Miska has found a function that we have added, where you can translate my blog into many other languages, by very easily choosing your language at the right edge of the blog!

I was just going to clarify it in a post, so that you who need it do not miss it :)
