I have been using Manukahonung MGO 600+ for a while to relieve my sore throat and try to get rid of my recurring sore throat / throat infections. So...
Today I was hungry for smoky eyes, you never get tired of that, do you? :) At the same time I was inspired by the wonderful blue sky outside the window, oh what spring feelings!
I probably have not written it before, but I have actually started using nudh minerals concealer “Covers dark” to another area of use - highlighter!
First I fix the foundation as I usually do, and then the concealer is used to cover blemishes. But when I'm done, I usually do a little extra on the nose bone, cupid's bow, chin, and under the eyes down to the nostrils.
Covers dark becomes very natural on the skin, it has a nice light shade and blends in well with the rest of the makeup. Then you can supplement with a shimmery highlighter on e.g. cheekbones if you want a little more luster!
In addition, it is easy to apply on top of the makeup, as it is in powder form. I do not recommend using any concealer as a highlighter, if you use creamy products you should e.g. Do not put a layer of concealer in the forehead just to brighten up.
This concealer is not recommended as a highlighter for people with darker skin tones, as it is too light to be used as a highlighter.

In the morning I went to Uppsala for a make-up job with the talented photographer Elina Meuller. The shooting was for a photo exhibition in Norrköping, Nyköping or some such city with a similar name haha :)

When I came home after a walk in the sleet and wind, I was cold, tired and hungry. So Miska and I crawled home to my mother, lit a fire in the stove, cooked taco gratin and took a hot bath together while the food was in the oven.
Miska got out of the bath a little earlier, so I could lie down and relax while he set the table and filled the fire with firewood. I really love to swim, you get so relaxed and harmonious while you get clean and fresh - the best combination!
There was dinner in front of the Melodifestivalen, and then ice cream with hot raspberries and licorice sauce in front of Lady and Luffsen, before we both fell asleep on the sofa. Wonderfully!

Painting a lashliner is a great trick that has many uses. Lashliner is simply that you mark the lashes by painting eyeliner between the straws and not just as a line above.
Lashliner can be used to… 1. To make the eyelashes look fuller, which is nice on everyone but especially on people with sparse and thin eyelashes. 2. To make the lashes look longer, people with short eyelashes get the illusion of even shorter lashes the wider the eyeliner they have. 3. In order for the regular eyeliner you paint above to look more well-made and finished, without there being any space with skin color between the mascara and eyeliner. 4. Instead of a regular eyeliner if you have small eyes, droopy eyelids or hooded eyes (a lot of skin above the eyelid, so that the eyelid is not visible / barely visible when you look straight ahead). If you have that, then you want to preserve as much space as possible on the eyelid to apply the eye shadow, so that you do not just see a black eyeliner when you look ahead.
Med och “utan” lashliner. Jag har ju tatuerat lashliner som jag har försökt sminka över nu för att få en bra före-bild, men skillnaden på ögonen hade varit ännu större utan mina tatueringar.

What you can think of if she has got a little sagging eyelids that you often get over the years, is not to paint a wide eyeliner but stay as close to the roots of the lashes as possible. Then you get a nice framing of the eye that makes a big difference to the gaze, without taking up any surface of the eyelid that we would rather emphasize with eye shadows!
In addition, the eyelashes look longer if you do not have a wide eyeliner, many older people often have slightly shorter lashes.
I also recommend matte eyeshadows at the outer edge of the eye, because shimmer highlights lines and irregularities. But on the eyelid it usually goes well, you are not usually a raisin around the eyes at the age of 50 :)
Feel free to focus on the top of the eye with the shadows and mascara, partly so that she does not feel made up but also to lift her gaze a little.
My last tip is to be frugal with basic make-up if she is not used to wearing make-up, and feel free to put a little extra thought into her eyebrows to frame her face!
