Make up the winter!

I heard on Nyhetsmorgon this morning that no matter how hot it is outside, it will not be classified as spring before 15 February, but it will be soon! If the heat stays the same, then I do not have to feel weird who has spring feelings and does spring-inspired make-up already now :)

But the only hard thing about spring is that you realize more than ever how much winter has affected the skin, and you do not melt at all into the spring colors you suddenly want to put on. The spring feelings inside me give running in the legs and lots of energy, but when I look in the mirror I see a pale, dull and lifeless person who does not reflect my inside at all.

Anyone who recognize themselves?

But it can be remedied! And I did that today and thought to show you how :)

What do you want this time of year then? You may not want to look quite as pale, you want more luster that removes the dry, lifeless feeling, and you want a little more color!

The answer is:
1. Brown without sun (I have used a bronzer gel that only lasts for the day!)
2. A luminous foundation / day cream
3. Blush and lip gloss

2. Benefit Dew the Hoola Liquid Bronzer
Sen smorde jag in ansikte och dekolletage med en “en-dags” brun utan sol, alltså en gel som ger brun utan sol-effekt men som man tvättar bort på kvällen sen. Den här är till för ansiktet men det finns för hela kroppen också.

I used it for the first time today, will test a bit more and you will get a full review later :)

3. Pixi Illuminating Tint & Conceal
Colored day cream + concealer for a smoother skin tone, and lots of glow! The skin gets a very nice glow, and blemishes and irregularities are conjured away. I have used the shade 02 Bare Glow.

4. Contouring, blush, eyebrows & lips
To get a complete bass make-up, I finished with contouring, a luminous hghlighter with a golden glow, blush, brow pencil, lip liner and lip gloss as the finishing touch to get some color and shape in the face as well :)

Contouring - Pixi Contour Creator Palette
Highlighter - Pixi Minimal Makeup Palette
Rouge - Paese Powder Blush (35)
Eyebrows - Benecos Natural Brow Pencil (Brown)
Lip pencil - Benecos Natural Lip Liner (Brown)
Lip Gloss - Paese Balm Lip Gloss (super caring) in the shade 223

Then you can make the eyes however you want, either nothing at all, just mascara or a make-up with eye shadows and the whole chorus. No matter what, you do not need much more than this base to look fresh and fresh!
