IF it was fun to come back to the salon after 2 weeks holiday and the first thing I hear when I step in the door is how good everything has rolled on here and how good everyone has been!
Next time I go on holiday, I will do it completely without worry in my body, this has really gone really well :)
The first days after the holidays
I would have lied if I had said that I was not difficult to start, the week started with enormous difficulty sleeping at night, I turned around the clock right when we got home but my body still seemed set for Mexico time in the evenings.
Dessutom hade jag sett framför mig att börja på “ett rent blad” eller vad man säger, men det samlas ju en hög med saker man inte tagit tag i under semestern + att jag själv hade sparat saker från innan semestern.
So the first few days can be summed up with lots of caffeine in the morning (but stop in time to not have the slightest agility in the body in the evening haha) and just catch up on lots of things.
But because I had so much inspiration and energy in my soul, even though my body was tired, I am completely rested :) I was so bothered that I did not do work things that took me Forward, it felt like I was just doing things that should have been done already. So I squeezed in some such forward-looking work stuff as well which helped the psyche a bit haha!
Varje gång jag kände att sömnbristen gjorde sig påmind så tänkte jag “Jag är handlingskraftig! Jag får saker gjort!” haha och det hjälpte mig att fokusera :)
Among other things, I have completed the campaign photos for February that Malin made completely on her own when we were in Mexico! It's a Valentine's Day make - up, one about Ida being a certified permanent makeup artist, one about a glowing Skin Beauty Illuminating primer that gives radiance to winter-tired skin, and one about teeth whitening.

In addition, we have a competition on our Facebook page where we compete for 2 pair treatments: haircut + beard trim and lash permanent + lash color! You can choose if you want to win two beards, two lashes or one of both. So you can come and do the treatment at the same time as someone you like! Fint va? :)

We had taken pictures of beard pictures of Niclas before, but I had no picture of eyelash permanent in action, so I took that picture this week of one of our customers who was kind and showed up! :)
“Nu har jag lärt mig någonting nytt!”
I Mexico så hängde vi mycket med ett par från Wisconsin i USA och en av dom, Tina, sa väldigt ofta “I didn’t know that, now I learned something new!” och hon tänkte nog inte på det själv men för mig var det faktiskt inspirerande! Det måste ju vara superbra för hjärnan att högt säga att man har lärt sig någonting nytt, dels inser man hur mycket nya saker man lär sig hela tiden men jag tror också att det blir lättare att faktiskt komma ihåg dom också.
T.ex. när Miska pratade om vårt depåkonto och jag inte visste vad det var (ett konto på banken för värdepapper där vi har våra aktier) så sa jag högt “nu har jag lärt mig någonting nytt!” och det gav faktiskt en liten boost och nu tror jag aldrig att jag kommer glömma vad ett depåkonto är haha.

En annan sak kring att lära sig nya saker – jag brukar försöka säga “jag har inte lärt mig det än” istället för att säga “jag kan inte det”. Det blir en mer positiv inställning för hjärnan än att säga högt att man inte kan massa saker, för det är klart att man can you just have not learned it yet! :)
Holiday puzzle
We are in full swing planning holidays for the summer now, what is complicated is that we have most bookings during the summer and as a Sweden resident and humble manager who cares about everyone, I can not say no to holidays during the summer too though it would have been best for the company. There are several companies that do not grant holidays during the company's busiest time, but it is a matter of course that you should rest and enjoy the little moment of summer that we actually have! Something else feels inhuman :)
That is why it will instead be a real puzzle. Truly a balancing act for me to make it work for the company while I do everything to make everyone happy. Families with children have to plan holidays with their partner, kindergarten opening hours, etc., so I understand that it is not easy for them either.
Now the holidays for everyone with fixed times are nailed and ready in any case! Pjuh! :) The schedule as a whole is not exactly finished yet but we are well on our way!

Weekend job
After the tough start to the week, I then had quite a few bookings, partly regulars but also make-up consultations that wanted to book me specifically, so when the weekend came I still had a lot of energy and inspiration to take on more inspiring tasks so it has become a lot of homework this weekend :)
Dels håller jag på att göra ett jättelångt inlägg om sminkborstar, och så håller jag som sagt på att strukturera upp våra beauty guides i webshopen. Tidigare har jag bara kopierat in färdiga blogginlägg men nu kommer jag lägga mer fokus på välarbetade inlägg, t.ex. detta med borstarna kommer dels finnas om man klickar på “beauty guides” men även om man går in på borsten bland produkterna i webshopen så kommer inlägget finnas där.
Min plan är att det dels ska finnas massor av inspiration och roliga sminktips att bläddra bland, jag har ett gäng sminkningar som enbart är gjorda med produkter från Creative Makeup som håller på att läggas in i kategorin “get the look” men också att när man går in på varje produkt så ska det finnas beauty guides med steg för steg, swatch-bilder, videos o.s.v.
It may not sound messy at all but it is a project that takes a lot of time! :)
Love to sit at home on the couch or bed and work, I can get so extremely focused when I feel really calm around me. The perception of time disappears completely and suddenly I have been sitting for several hours :)
I am aware that this week's pictures were not very inspiring and rewarding maybe hehe, but it is kind of only in front of the computer screen + with customers (which I then do not have a picture of) that I have spent my time this week.
But as the plans look for next week, that business post will be a little more speed and fan! :)
