Wish makeup - Date

“Hej!

Nervous girl here before a first date with a sickly handsome guy, wants some help with makeup! I am looking for a reasonably sexy / flirty make-up, which does not give the impression of having put in too much effort, but is still attractive. I have a newly purchased one green-glittery eyeliner I never used, but thought the color was so sickly good-looking so had to give in to the desire to have - would be fun if it could be combined into the make-up! Otherwise, I am more for a little muted colors, black-brown-dark purple, but am open for the most part that does not give an exaggerated look :) Have blue-gray eyes, light brown-red hair and a rather cold skin tone.

What fun with dating! Of course I want to help you with this :)

I love to mix a little psychology into my make-up, and a date make-up is perfect in that case! It also sounds in your description that you are a bit after a party make-up, so I guess you are going to dinner or similar.

If you sit opposite each other and talk, it is the eyes you want to focus on, I would therefore rather put a little more eye makeup and skip the lips completely. In addition, run on a simple outfit and an everyday hairstyle, an oblique braid perhaps if you have long hair. Then your eyes will shine (!) And you also do not have to think about lip makeup if you eat / drink / kiss;). Moisturize the lips with a little lip balm before just so that they look soft and nice.

Som du beskriver så vill du ha en sotad och intensiv makeup, och det är jättebra för de flesta killar gillar sotade ögon på tjejer (enligt min egen research). Intensiva ögon ger dessutom en lite flirtig och “sexig” känsla och det kommer vara svårt för killen att släppa din blick!

Jag rekommenderar också att ljusa upp ordentligt innerst på ögat och highlighta under ögonbrynet, då ser dina ögon större ut samtidigt som det gör att din sotning inte blir lika tung eller “för mycket”.

Din glitteridé älskar jag! Om du applicerar glittereyelinern ytterst på övre fransraden så kommer det blinga diskret när du blinkar och dina ögon kommer bli mer intressanta att titta på. Ibland när jag sminkar så, så har jag fått kommentaren “jag kan inte sluta titta på dina ögon!” och det är precis så man vill ha det på första dejten :)

Var noga med ögonfransarna också, det är viktigt för att känna sig snygg och flirtig. Har du “dåliga” fransar så kan du köpa enstaka fransknippen och limma fast istället för en hel rad med lösögonfransar, det ger ett naturligare resultat!

I do not have this eyeliner myself, but I mixed in a little green false eye shadow in my gold glittery eyeliner from True Gold so it turned out similar!

I have used these colors from the palette from Boots no 7 that I wrote about in this post.

1.  Light eye shadow deepest on the eyelid and up below the eyebrow.
2. Brown-green eye shadow in the middle of the eyelid.
3. Plum brown eye shadow at the end of the eyelid.
4. Black eye shadow at the end of the lower lash line and up at the end of the eyelid.
5. Blur the edges.
6. Black eyeliner along the upper lash line, Kryolan Cake Eyeliner.
Black eyeliner at the bottom of the waterline, Yves Rocher Eyeliner (01 Noir)
7. Light shimmery eye shadow in the corner of the eye and at the bottom of the lower lash line, Annika's Favorite Shadow.
8. Green glitter eyeliner (mine is greenish gold) over the black eyeliner on the upper lash line.
9. Black mascara on all lashes, nudh mineral Mascara.

This is a real party make-up if you match it to a dress and curly hair, but if you are a little more discreet on the front that I mentioned earlier, this make-up will be perfect for a date!

If you feel that it is still a little too dark, just soot a little less under the eye and skip the elongated shape and the make-up will immediately become more discreet.
